Have you been on the pill before? I've been on it for six years, mostly because of period control, and it's wonderful! I bleed lightly, have almost NO cramps or other menstrual symptoms and I know when it's coming. Of course, the added bonus is I have less of a chance of getting pregnant when I'm in a relationship (though not 100%; I still insist on condoms so I can lessen the risk even more.) They also have the patch if you don't think you can remember to take the pill at the same time everyday.

Doctors WONT remove healthy ovaries or a healthy uterus for birth control purposes. Also, I don't know how old you are, but many doctors refuse to do a tubal on a woman who's under 25 (some even say 30), even if she's had one or two kids because they worry she'll change her mind and sue. You might get lucky if that's what you decide to do, but I figured I better warn you.

Talk to your husband/significant other (if you have one), as well as your doctor. Your doctor can determine which method(s) are best on you, based on your health, wishes, and lifestyle.

If your 100% sure you never want anymore, have your tubes tied. Otherwise, try a long term plan BC like the IUD. Those are great and you don't have to worry about taking it every day. There are tons of BC options out there. Your doc can best help you decide which one is best for you :)

don't have sex but, that usually isn't an option. birth control is next but, i hate the idea of having to use it til you're in menopause. vasectomy is a good option, provided your husband feels the same way. lastly, is tubligation which is major surgery. we opted for the vasectomy.we both agreed it was the best option for us.
