In the state of Ohio i have 2 permits. One for the weapon and my concealment permit which cost a lot to get.Now the only time its not hidden is when i am driving in which case its in the back of the trunk and locked. I all ways have to tell an officer that i have concealed weapon in the truck or on me in which i have a permit to carry in public. It differs per state check wilth your local police and you might be able to find outr by searching online.

I think it differs depending on where you live. You can carry a hand gun in the state of Indiana as long as you have a permit and it's not concealed. Some businesses and such have the right to turn you away or make you put it in your vehicle though.

One solid example in Dallas, recently.. the local police dept had a drive where they actually traded FOOD for guns turned in. Surprise.. citizens trying to eliminate ILLEGAL guns is not a partisan issue (as you try to make it) .. it is coming from all persons. ALL of us are hoping to stop the use of guns for criminal activity. Thus your assertion is false and manipulated. The recent rise in persons carrying guns to political meetings may be "legal".. that does not mean that it isn't stupidity, or efforts to instill fear in people. It also presents the idea that many gun owners have fallen for FALSE INFORMATION, claiming that Obama wants to take their guns. Being a Christian as you claim.. how about an HONEST DISCUSSION?? Instead of throwing digs, based in misinformation.. maybe you could respect other persons enough to actually HEAR THEM.

In Kansas, you need a concealed carry license if it is CONCEALED. But if it is in the open on your person or on a car seat, you don't need a license. Do you have a friend in law enforcement? They would be able to answer you questions for your state/county/city. Have a good day!

This would definitely depend on the state you live in, some states as long as you have a permit and it's strapped to your side in a visible location there is no problem. Other states your going to get tossed in jail for brandishing a fire arm in public. I would definitely check with the local police department.

LOL...At first reading this I thought you were asking is it legal to carry a staple gun openly..lol.. A cold VS. dyslexia makes for interesting reading..

Where I live it is fine to carry a gun but you can not go into a store with it, but I believe you still have to carry a permit with it.

Technically no, but this is under hot debate. It is also known as the 2nd amendment, the right to have and bear arms. If you walk down the street with a gun, it will probably be confiscated and you might be arrested. You can conceal in certain states with the proper license.

The permit can be checked on, but if a potential attacker sees it, they may be able to overcome you and use it against you. Of coarse, it might change some minds about messing with you. Thugs always prefer an easy looking target.

It depends on your local laws. Most states and municipalities have laws stating that if you are carrying your weapon must be concealed.

If you are a security guard, armored car personnel, or law enforcement officer, you can carry openly.
