Hi,

I recently purchased a new freeride bike for doing 360's, backflips etc and it came with dirt jumper forks by marzocchi. I want to go abit bigger to the new Marzocchi Z1 RC2 ETA Bomber Suspension Fork 2007 and was wondering if it is possible to upgrade from 130mm dirt jumper forks to these 150mm Z.1's. I believe the stem posts are the same at 6" and would the frame handle it. most of all i wanted to know if I could switch them? would it be possible?

It will be possible, but, it will change the geometry of the bike, and how it rides. If you are okay with this, go for it...

You didn't mentioned which bike you have. Usually, some bikes are made to use forks from different a-to-c distances.

Both forks use 1 1/8" steerer, which is what you need to run one or the other, but having a longer fork will make your head tube slacker, which might be good for downhills and speed, but won't rotate as fast as a steeper one.

I think tha tthe Z1 is pretty good, congrats!
