You need to file two places. With the police and animal control

I would suggest that you call animal services.. tell them what's going on and tell them that these dogs have been or are being abused! If animal services doesn't do anything I would suggest that you call the police and animal services every single time something happens, that way they will have everything on record and I promise you, after enough complaints someone will do something! I hope something happens soon! Good luck! : )

Call animal control...
If you use a knife or a gun etc.. Then you are the one that is going to be arrested.. Let the proper group handle the problem. I am surprised that the police wouldn't tell you to call animal control.

1) check what the animal leash laws are in your community
2) get documentation that the animals are coming on your property
3) determine if you have evidence of the animals being miss treated
4) contact the authorities again with your documentation
5) do not use a gun or knife and you will be the one that is "out of here"

what do you mean by wont leave yours alone? like is it attacking your dog? or just barking? is it in your yard or on a common area.

most places have leash laws that require the dog to be under the owners restraint, so you should check your local laws.

you should call animal services if its something bad. or press charges.

if the police won't do anything, you need to file with animal control because you know the owners are abusing there dogs. you may want to call the humane society. poor dogs need to be taken away from their abusive owners. that's why they are acting out on your dogs.
