I've heard of protests like that. The truckers ended up feeding the bears! That is, they got whacking big tickets from the state highway patrol on the grounds that they were blocking traffic and creating a dangerous situation.
If you're thinking of organizing such a protest, you'd be best off un-thinking it.

You wouldn't know or understand unless you drove, and I mean more than the 6 month wonders out there. I would join them for the protest where is it at? I would love to take my largecar and block all the lanes. F*ck bears.
