I have curly hair a little past my shoulders but I want it to reach my waist. I straighten it though and it's a little damaged. It just never seems to grow that much longer. Is there a healthy, easy way to make my hair grow longer faster? I've heard that Mane n' Tail is supposed to work really well and was thinking of buying it. Can anyone please give me any suggestions?

Vitamins. Keep your hair healthy by keeping it trimmed. Drink lots of water. Don't expect an overnight miracle, but keep it healthy and it should work

Mane and Tail shampoo is as good as snake oil. No one uses it on the equine and if they did it wouldn't do much. which shampoo or is best for your hair type will depend on a few things the overall condition of your hair and is it oily or dry. typically curly hair is dry by nature(all ethnicity's) if your hair is dry to normal i recommend Sleek.Look. by Matrix. it is for curly or dry unruly hair. use the shampoo AND conditioner. this will also protect your hair from further damage. (your hair will appear longer if it isn't breaking) now to the hair inside your scalp...each hair has a life. every hair is different. its the average life of all yours hair that depends on how long your hair will actually get. ever seen someone that has never cut their hair and only 20 or so strand make it past their waist . the hair looks to be thinner as it gets longer. that's because the majority of that persons hairs fall out before they are allowed to grow that long. hairs are generated then live a long abuse filled life on our heads then fall out to be replaced all over again. i believe the average life of hair is6 years.

Stop straightening it. Damaged hair actually takes longer to grow.

Condition it A LOT. Everyday. Don't wash your hair everyday either.

Your hair will just get more damaged when you straighten it- stop straightening it. Plus, damaged hair doesn't grow a whole lot anyways.
