No. You need to be 21 to drive an HGV (17 if you're in the armed forces) but most employers will ask for 2 years experience. It's a bit of a catch 22 situation I'm afraid.

no you just need to be 21 or on the young drivers scheme but most companies ask for 2 years experience which is why so many end up on agencies however its a good learning ground as you drive different vehicles and use different trailers a lot of blue chip companies will take newly qualified subject to having previous transport experience on 7.5 tonners etc and taking an assessment drive you don't say if you've took your test or not if your thinking about it good luck if you've passed and cant get work try the agencies some are better than others.

There is no time experience limit on getting a C licence, but you need to be 21 and I you need to get a doctors report every few years to say you are fit to drive.

Hope not I've just managed to get funds to pay for unemployed people to get LGV(new HGV)licence.

No, but you will need to pass a test to drive rigids (Class C / C1) before you can take your test for artics (Class C+E).
