It's a scam as big as they come. Alarmists claim that 75% of people agree that Global Warming demands action. If that were the case, then why haven't they solved the problem already. Could it possibly be that this movement with a super majority unsurpassed in the annals of time is SO INCREDIBLY INEPT that they can't accomplish even modest goals without MORE participation? If that's the case, why should they be trusted with EVEN MORE power? I would side with the 25% that have evidently demonstrated that they can actually accomplish something.
Just to show you the level of scam being perpetrated, take the look at whose side this poster-child of corporate corruption is on:

Okay, here's how I see it. Both sides are politicizing the issue more than they should, but what's really reprehensible is that the anti-environmentalists are using their refusal to believe in global warming as an excuse to refuse to change any of their irresponsible and planet-harming ways. Whether you believe in global warming or not should be virtually irrelevant. There are other indisputable reasons why we need to reduce emissions. Here in Phoenix, and in other major metropolitan areas, we frequently have ozone advisories, warning even healthy active adults to stay inside or minimize their outdoor activities. In case you don't know, most ozone comes from car exhaust fumes, power plants and other man-made sources of nitrous oxides. Will people have to start dropping dead in the streets before you recognize that unhealthy air is a bad thing?

Not a scam, but blown out of proportion.
Global warming is a natural cycle and people are saying it is solely caused by human activity.
Never do not take in account for solar activity. The fact that there are almost double the solar flares daily does affect our planet. Also, more people exhaling is going to cause more CO2 in the air.
What is next, cows burping? Oh wait, now they are blaming cows for burping.
Why not look at how the earth's history and how the climate has changed regardless of human activity.
They do not want you to do that. All they want you to do is look at the last 50 or so years. They want you to be scared so you will want laws passed and items banned. They want you to be in a state of fear.

No.
This is science and what counts is the data.
"I wasn’t convinced by a person or any interest group—it was the data that got me. I was utterly convinced of this connection between the burning of fossil fuels and climate change. And I was convinced that if we didn’t do something about this, we would be in deep trouble.”
Vice Admiral Richard H. Truly, USN (Ret.)
Former NASA Administrator, Shuttle Astronaut and the first Commander of the Naval Space Command
Here are two summaries of the mountain of peer reviewed data that convinced Admiral Truly and the vast majority of the scientific community, short and long.

http://www.ipcc.ch/SPM2feb07.pdf
It's (mostly) not the sun:
http://solar-center.stanford.edu/sun-on-earth/FAQ2.html
And the first graph aboves shows that the sun is responsible for about 10% of it. When someone says it's the sun they're saying that thousands of climatologists are stupid and don't look at the solar data. That's ridiculous.
Science is quite good about exposing bad science or hoaxes:
http://www.cs.cmu.edu/~dst/ATG/polywater.html
There's a large number of people who agree that it is real and mostly caused by us, who are not liberals, environmentalists, stupid, or conceivably part of a "conspiracy". Just three examples of many:
"Global warming is real, now, and it must be addressed."
Lee Scott, CEO, Wal-Mart
"Our nation has both an obligation and self-interest in facing head-on the serious environmental, economic and national security threat posed by global warming."
Senator John McCain, Republican, Arizona
“DuPont believes that action is warranted, not further debate."
Charles O. Holliday, Jr., CEO, DuPont
There's a lot less controversy about this is the real world than there is on Yahoo answers:
http://www.worldpublicopinion.org/pipa/articles/home_page/329.php?nid=&id=&pnt=329&lb=hmpg1
And vastly less controversy in the scientific community than you might guess from the few skeptics talked about here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scientific_opinion_on_climate_change
http://www.sciencemag.org/cgi/content/full/306/5702/1686 and:
"There's a better scientific consensus on this [climate change] than on any issue I know... Global warming is almost a no-brainer at this point. You really can't find intelligent, quantitative arguments to make it go away."
Dr. Jerry Mahlman, NOAA
It's clear the skeptics here are getting very desperate, as, one by one, their scientific theories are debunked. Quoting a 5 year old story about Enron???

yes and no...they are saying that all of the global warming is OUR FAULT,but that is only half the story.for the past 5billion years, the earth has been naturally going through stages of heating and cooling (global warming, then and ice age). but that was just earth. but just recently, scientists found that global warming is interplanetary. they proved this by the fact that both nepune, and saturn, each were about 45 degrees hotter than normal...so it is only 50% our fault and the other half,we cant help.

Nonsense. Global warming is quite real, the scientific evidence is clear, and arguments that it is a scam are right-wing propaganda. Over the next few centuries, it will become the greatest danger ever faced by mankind.

No, global warming is real and the scientific consensus proved that humans are responsible for it. It's very simple. The sun's ultraviolet rays enter the Earth. Once they reach the surface, they are radiated back into space as infrared radiation. Greenhouse gases (CO2 and others) emitted from power plants, factories, planes, and cars trap the radiation in the atmosphere, heating up the Earth.

Climate change is for real. It always has been and shall continue to be.
If we are in a period of warming and you define that period of change as "global warming" then I guess you can say it's for real.
Yesterday Buenos Aries, Argentina had its first measurable snow fall in 82 years!
We ARE seeing climate change but a positive warming trend on a global scale is still questionable.
Carbon dioxide DOES aggravate a greenhouse effect.
Business and free enterprise will handle the situation and make a profit in the process. They will create jobs and improve the economy.
Government will just take your money, grab power, dictate your life style, give themselves ELITE status, and foul up EVERYTHING!
