I would first look at any community colleges in the area. Many will have building trade courses that will have a blueprint reading course.
If there is not a program in your area, there is a very good book for self study. Try to find Print Reading for Construction by Walter C. Brown and Daniel Dorfmueller. This book goes through blueprint reading step-by-step. The version that I saw had a separate folder with full size blueprints that were used to do the practice exercises.

Hey no you do not sound pathetic... I went through almost the same exact thing with my current b/f... he was a different reliegion than me and he said that it was just to hard for him to be with me and try to be a good jehovah witness.. So we had to brake up, and i was soooo heart broken i even considered changing my whole relegion to be with him... i felt like no matter what it was i would do ne thing to be with him.. even make myself look stupid and dumb... But the good news is i made myself stop texting him and calling him for a few days and he on his own realized that he really did love me and so now we are back together.. One thing tho is you can't say he can date other girls while he is dating you cuz then why even try only being with you again when he has been able to be with 3 or 4 girls at a time... It like my mom always says why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free... lol.. So don't give up on it ok and trust me i know that staying away from him for a couple days will be hard but it the only way you can really find out if this guy does care about you.

i used to work at a civil engineering consulting firm which specialized in small city projects such as storm and sanitary sewer, water and wastewater treatment facilities. every city has a city engineer.....you could start by contacting your local city hall and ask to meet with your city engineer.
my son is a student in a nearby state university. he got a job with the university in the facilities department doing 'miss dig' projects locating utilities and marking them with spray paint on the ground, and updating 'as built' drawings. perhaps you could also check out your local university facility department.
good luck.
