As long as I know that my thoughts could not be the result of an unguided evolutionary process (if my existence is really real but just an illusion, then what is perceiving the illusion? the molecules themselves? yet how can unconscious molecules perceive an illusion?), I know I exist. And since it's more likely that I didn't always exist, but came into being, then it's equally more likely that I must have a source. Finally, I find it more likely that that source has such attributes as consciousness, intelligence, rationality, etc., that I received from this source rather than from a naturalistic universe that contains none of them.

I know this is hard for some of you to grasp, but creationism and intelligent design offer opinions on how the Earth WAS FORMED. It would probably be better classified under Philosophy.

Evolution discusses changes in life forms, and not in their actual ORIGINS. It had to start somewhere. Biological changes do fall under science, not Theology.

You seem to miss the point that these are two separate and distinct categories.

Peace be with you.

I definitely don't, but I have seen some people here who believe that Genesis is scientific. Of course, they haven't the faintest clue what science actually is or they wouldn't believe it either.

No. Neither stand up to the scientific process, therefore cannot be tested, and therefore cannot be science.

I don't think anyone would believe that, rather, they wish it were true.

We don't believe it, we KNOW it.
If you don't believe in God, let's see you hold your breath for 20 minutes.
God gave you boundaries, one is your breath which came from him.
He also will take it away when he takes a notion.
Have respect for God who gave you life.
