Theists control the planet, in other words, atheists live under theist rules, laws, etc. The money they spend has on it In God We Trust. They live under a Constitution which got its ideas from the law of Moses. I see it that if they had any "proof" then they would control the planet, not the theists. Obviously theists know how to rule and keep control of the earth. Yes.
My question? Do you think after 6,000 years of theist rule is it hopeless to think that athiests will ever get it? Is there hope for them because they seem to be blind to reality?
Why do they continue when thousands of years of theist rule should have given them at least a clue?

Try this one on for size (all alterations to the original question are capitalized):

Why dont WOMEN give it up?
MEN control the planet, in other words, WOMEN live under MEN'S rules, laws, etc. The money they spend has on it HAS PICTURES OF MEN. They live under a Constitution which WAS WRITTEN BY MEN. I see it that if they had any "proof" then they would control the planet, not the MEN. Obviously MEN know how to rule and keep control of the earth. Yes.
My question? Do you think after 6,000 years of MALE rule is it hopeless to think that WOMEN will ever get it? Is there hope for them because they seem to be blind to reality?
Why do they continue when thousands of years of MALE rule should have given them at least a clue?

As if that was exciting enough, welcome to the flaw in your logic:

Why is your logic flawed? It assumes some things that are not true: theism is "proven" or "accurate" just because it's dominant. Dominance does not prove anything nor does it make anything accurate. The dominant theory in the Dark Ages was that the earth was flat and the universe revolved around it. Was it "proven" or "accurate"? No.

The only thing dominance proves it that it has the power to be dominant.

What don't we atheists get exactly? I'm not sure exactly of what your rambling meant, but let me try to answer what I think you're asking to the best of my ability. Theism has been around since the dawn of man to give them some kind of understanding of the world around them. For example, they had no idea what electricity was, so lightning frightened them, and they had to have an understanding of what causes it, so therefore they said that there was a "God" that was creating it. Theism has just been an institution that has been around for such a long time that its hard to break away from it completely. Also, the Constitution says that I have a right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, and being an Atheist is my liberty. Also, you talk of "proof", but what proof do you have of whatever religion you follow? Religions necessarily don't have proof, because there are so many different religions out there that are completely different. Now following this line of thought, it is quite obvious that humans are making up these religions, instead of these God's enlightening humankind, because if this were so then all people would know of and believe in the same religion. So let me answer your question with a question of my own. A scientific textbook with theories in it that have been tested and proven true many times over, or an ancient, thousands of years old book written by those with no true understanding of the world around them, which has better proof in it?

mmmm, love it.

Well how does the constitution borrow ideas from the law of Moses? Setting up a democratic government? Free Speech? No man shall be tried twice for the same crime? Where in the ten commandments is this?

Well, according to your logic, Moses and the Hebrew slaves would've given up, living under the Egyptians. Also, women shouldn't have been given rights, living in a man's world for 6000 years.

Never give up, never surrender.

So you claim that theists control the planet because there are religious slogans on the money, and the Constitution is based on the law of Moses.

Wow.

Are you Americans really that conceited?

Looking in my wallet, my money has hockey players, British royalty and poems about art and hockey on it.

And I see very little direct connection between Moses Commandments and the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, or any other section of the Constitution Acts (1867 to 1982).

Do you somehow think that 'the planet' consists only of the United States?

Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha...6 thousand years...that's a riot.

"Theists control the planet"...lol...this is a secular nation, not a Christian one. The Constitution was written by secularists. Laws are based on morality and humanity, not 'Moses'. Morals existed long before the Christian religion ever came into play. Don't forget there are many, many, many other religions that predate Christianity.

So your true motives have shown through. Is that all you're after...controlling the planet and power? Is that what you think is important? Grow up. Some great example of a "Christ-like" individual you are. I don't think Jesus taught his followers to be power hungry.

Theism is the default position of many people on the planet and many of them have control of their respective countries. Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Syria, Libya, the Vatican, Pakistan, etc. are all theocracies. Their leaders are very powerful. Is that the kind of power you're talking about? Are you personally fond of that kind of power?

Oh, and if you wiped out every atheist in history you would be as sure the sun revolves around a flat earth as you that theists hold all the power. Have fun in your cave.

6,000 years is a relatively short time frame considering how long humans have been on the planet and the age of our world itself. And the planet is NOT run by theists. The US is. Countries like England, Switzerland, and several other european and Asian countries are Atheists (technically, buddism doesn't have a deity that it worships), so why on earth would Atheists give up? They're taking over one country at a time. Perfect strategy, actually.

You owe me a new irony meter, too.
We're atheists, not megalomaniacs.
Thanks for letting your alterior motive slip, though. You believe based on fear, and fear alone.

"Theists control the planet, in other words, atheists live under theist rules, laws, etc."
Since when? We're not in a theocracy, dear. Wake up.

"The money they spend has on it In God We Trust."
That doesn't mean we have to agree with it.

"They live under a Constitution which got its ideas from the law of Moses."
Okay, NOW you're just full of snot. Nowhere in our constitution does it mention any gods, any Sabbath days, or coveting your neighbor's goods. On the contrary, our Constitution is the first of its kind to be completely secular; any references to religion are exclusionary. Had you read it, you would know that.

"Is there hope for them because they seem to be blind to reality?"
To a delusional nut like you, anyway.

"They live under a Constitution which got its ideas from the law of Moses."

really? which laws are those?
thou shalt have no Gods before me? what about the freedom of religion?
thou shalt honor thy father and mother? since when is disobeying mom and dad against the law?
thou shalt not covet thy neighbors' ***, etc.? coveting the possessions of others is key to driving a consumer economy

" Is there hope for them because they seem to be blind to reality?"
gee let's hope so. but seriously which reality are you refering to? you are the one who is blind to reality if you think christians and jews "control the planet" Islam is actually the most widely practiced religion in the world, and your 6000 year figure is strange to... does this mean you are also taking into account the religions which dominated before Constantine's conversion? before then I don't think you can find any mono-theistic dominance, certianly not on any "global" or even a wide regional scale. before then the religions of the most dominant societies were poly-theistic (i.e. the greeks, romans, and egyptians)

Where do you get "6,000 years of theist rule"?

This "theist rule" is based on violence, manipulation, fear.

I'm not sure what you think we should be getting or giving up.

And as for control of the earth...yes, good work there. You sure seem to have everything in hand.
