Questions like this imply that Jehovah's Witnesses are interested in becoming popular, but that is simply not true. The ONLY opinions of ongoing interest to a true Witness are those of Jehovah and Christ Jesus. Those who work to ingratiate themselves with some human or human group are not doing God's will.
(1 Thessalonians 2:4) We speak, as pleasing, not men, but God, who makes proof of our hearts.
(Matthew 6:20,21) Store up for yourselves treasures in heaven... For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
Jehovah's Witnesses have the true religion. They are Christian (of course), but they are unique for their rejection of paganisms, use of God's personal name, and global preaching by every active adherent. No other religious organization can claim such purity of worship.
These facts about Jehovah's Witnesses are perhaps relevant to this question. The more one compares this Christian religion with others, the more remarkable it is shown to be.
1. Jehovah's Witnesses have no paid clergy. Yet they remain tightly organized with more than 6.5 million active Jehovah's Witness preachers (about 16 million associate themselves with the religion). Even fulltime preachers and workers at their branch offices are unpaid volunteers.
2. There is no elite class among Jehovah's Witnesses. Even the few 'anointed' among them enjoy no special privileges in their congregations on earth. An anointed person (one of those relative few with a heavenly hope) is not elevated above his fellow congregants in any way, and he may not even qualify for appointment as a simple 'deacon' or elder. There are no titles; EVERYONE is addressed as 'brother' or 'sister'.
3. No person benefits economically from the Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Even the 8 to 20 men who serve on their Governing Body receive simply room, board, medical care, and reimbursement for certain personal expenses according to the exact same provision as every other branch volunteer.
4. About a hundred men have served on Jehovah's Witnesses' Governing Body committee during the past 125 years or so. The vast majority of them have spent the vast majority of their adult lives volunteering for their organization's purposes, and the vast majority have died faithfully and near-pennilessly while still under their legal 'vow of poverty'.
5. Amazingly, Jehovah's Witnesses did not splinter as a sect from some other religion. Instead, a truly tiny but sincere group of bible students studied only the Scriptures to determine the will of God. Thus their religion remains absolutely independent of and not carrying the sins of Christendom's history, yet carries the authority of Christ's teachings.
6. Despite the distortions of anti-Witnesses, throughout their modern history Jehovah's Witnesses have refused to claim divine inspiration or infallibility for their teachings. They have pointed to the bible (and not any particular translation) as the only inspired infallible means of knowing God's thoughts. For over 125 years, their teachings have been presented as merely the results of sincere bible research by imperfect but godly humans.

Jehovah's Witnesses believed that Jesus Christ is the son of the almighty father Jehovah. The savior. Further, what kind of translation the bible was, it has the same meaning about who is the true GOD, who is Jesus, however, people are ignoring of what is the truth. JW's are kept knocking at your door, becuase of love and care that they want you to hear the good news as Jesus told to do so. My beloved sisters and brothers, I can say let one of Jehovah's Witness talk to u and im sure it clear all ur doubts like the question above.

Well, we believe in Jesus and our Bible is not different.
Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God, the first born of all creation. (John 3:16; Col. 1:15-17)
The Bible Jehovah's Witnesses use is called New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures. It is the actual translation of the original languages (Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek) that the Bible was written in previously to our modern day English. We have added nothing to the Scriptures nor have we taken away anything. (Rev. 22:18,19)
We knock on doors to let people know the glorious and wonderful message of the good news of God's Kingdom. This Kingdom that has Jesus Christ as the King is going to end wickedness and suffering and bring about a better and new world of true peace and security.— Matt. 24:14; Rev. 21:1-5.

People believe that we don't believe in Jesus Christ because we don't believe in the Trinity - we believe that Jehovah is God, not Jesus.
We have an accurate TRANSLATION of the Bible not a VERSION of it. They don't look into those things they just want to say our Bible is different. We will use any Bible to prove what we believe, will you?
We knock on doors trying to find people who want to learn about Jehovah and his son, Jesus. We offer free home Bible studies. We encourage people to read their Bibles. We do all this and we don't get paid for it, we aren't trying to "buy" our way to heaven, but we are doing it voluntarily to help our neighbors, and we do it out of love for them and for our God who commanded us to do this.

if we did not believe in Jesus Christ, why would we do what he commanded us to do at Matthew 28 verse 19 and 20. our bible is not different because I have a king james bible at home that I look up all the time. the only difference is our bible talks the way we talk and has God's name Jehovah put into the places that it belongs. the convention was about Jesus Christ. learn what we are all about before you start to slander us or when you turn your back on Jehovah and start lying about Jehovah and Jesus Christ. the watchtower is a magazine that we read on sunday. we follow the bible not the watchtower. learn what Jehovah Witnesses are about at www.watchtower.org

Three months ago I had a person at the door tell me "You don't believe in Jesus"
When I answered "Yes, I do", they told me again, "No you don't."
After saying "Yes, I do" a second time, I excused myself.
To your first two points, I can't agree with.
Compare the NWT to others, All the time.
No I don't wonder why we knock on doors.

Yes, they do believe in Jesus. Thats one of the main miss understanding that people have of Jehovah Witnesses.
Our Bible mentions the only name of the true living God Jehvovah.
I know on people's doors because we are supposed to love our brothers and sister and we don't want any of them to be destroyed.
