Unfortunately they are real, they Do exist. They were angels who rebelled against God and his way of governing this world, in fact the bible says that they, along with satan, are the ones dominating and governing the world now, so whether we are religious or not, they are around us everyday and they exist, that is why we see such horrible things going on in this world. and yes demons can take over you body, but one thing for sure is that demons have a huge fear of God, says so in the bible, so having faith in God and believing He will destroy them soon and avoiding all demonic things, will certainly help you avoid any contact with demons wat so ever.

Have you ever seen someone claiming to be possessed by a demon? It's really pretty funny.
What is the evidence for demons? Every single person on this board who believes in demons cites the bible as the source. No critical thinking, no analysis, no questioning anything at all. If it's in the bible then it's a fact.
The bible is more than 2,000 years old. What did they know of demons back then? In their culture anything wrong with a person could be attributed to demons. Have a headache? It must be demons. Lose your car keys? Demons must have stole them. Embarrassed by what you said when you were drunk? Just blame it on a demon. Ever heard of the Salem Witch Trials? Same type of thing there.

Yes, you must be religious to believe in demonic possession because organized religion made up all the demons and made its followers so weak minded that they believe they can be possessed. That's how it works.

Yes, they are real - Jesus confronted them throughout the Bible. Can a person be possessed? Yes -you can have as many demons as you want or allow. No I have never to my knowledge been possessed by a demon , however I know that I have been influenced by them. Yes I have met many people who were possessed by demons. No you do not have to be religious to believe in demonic posession, however you do have to be a Christian believer to cast them out.

Demons are real. The bible tells us point blank that they are real.
Worshippers of the devil usher demons into their presence and also ask for demonic help in controling others around them.
God has left a part of himself here on earth called the comforter and he keeps evil at bay right now, but not supressed.
Without God, you have no power or control over demons or demonic spirits and will be swallowed by them and have no way out.
Devil worshippers believe and respect God. They know where the true power is, they just want the instant pleasure and power that is offered right now. When God shines his light on their activities, they scurry away like cock roaches.

Question Everything (the first to answer) said it all. Allow me to add that the symptoms of demonic possession are the same as those of schizophrenia. While mental illness is very real, demons are not.

Demons are very real and can possess,I have had a Demonic attack once.You can drive them away in The Holy Name of Jesus.You can invite them in with anything occult.

Maybe you should read the Exorcist. It has a lot of stuff about demons and religious belifs and I learned bunches. In the book, a Catholic priest was hired to ward off the demons. But you might just have a subconscious disorder. I'd check with a phsychiatrist. Good luck!

Yes, I believe demon's are real. They are not, however, physical beings. Demonic possession is real (it is in the bible), but if you are a born-again christian, then you cannot be possessed.
