When they suspect you of something and then arrest you and you're innocent why won't they let you talk. You'd say, "Please officer, get me out of these cuffs! I'm 100% innocent!" Then the cop would say, "Quiet! You have the right to remain silent!" Then you'd say, "But officer..." Then he'd cut in and say to you, "SHUT UP! I'M TAKING YOU IN AND THAT'S FINAL!"

If you're crying while trying to be set free, obviously you are innocent but they'll still send you to jail. Please explain this!!!

But if the guilty are trying to be set free, they'd be crying fake tears! If you see tears streaming down someone's face, they're obviously innocent!

First, I had to chuckle when I read your question.
If you have been arrested it was because the evidence pointed towards you. That is doing the job they were hired to do. Crying and pleading your innocence will not sway the officer once you have been arrested. You might as well save it for the judge or jury. Sometimes the officer has to tell the arrested subject to SHUT UP. They are only human and it gets to them when someone continually gripes, complains, crys...etc
Sooooooooooo, don't put yourself in a position that you might be arrested. Everyone knows right from wrong (or at least should) So take your medicine and let the legal system takes it course. If your innocent hire a good lawyer....

How do you tell a guilty tear from an innocent tear. If you decide to talk know what you say will be used against you (Miranda Rights). If you beg and cry you get no sympathy, they all do that. If choose to remain silent you admit to nothing and you can always plead the 5th amendment to any questions. Don't blow it. Control your behaviors and if you are guilty you may spend the next stretch in jail or prison.

If you're innocent, they'll figure it out soon enough.
Once the cuffs are on, you're probably going in.
Fear is also a great emotion, noted to cause tears...especially if you just got caught doing criminal activity they observed/suspect you are doing.
Cops will separate emotion from the facts as that is part of their job.
They'll let you talk...unless you're interrupting them constantly...innocent folks tend to stick to the truth...instead of crying...yelling...fighting...a calm respectful demeanor will go a long way with law enforcement.
The cuffs are there for their protection...to control the situation...if there advising you of your rights...an attorney is your next move...ask for one.
Good Luck

The police are supposed to arrest people suspected of crimes. We pay them to do that. They are trained to try to see things in the most objective way possible. Usually trying to convince the police you are innocent is pointless as we elect judges and sometimes seat juries to do that. If the cops were allowed to debate innocence with suspects we would short-circuit our justice system. No one would be treated fairly under our laws anymore!
Hoping that crying would be seen as a sign of innocence is pointless as the best criminals would cultivate the best and most realistic "crying skills".

I have arrested plenty of people who were crying and clearly guilty. Crying does not mean a person is innocent, it just means they are crying.
Court is where you answer to the crimes, not with the police officer. If he has probable cause (evidence) to believe you were the one to commit a crime. I'm sorry, but you are doing in. It might suck, but I can't just take people's word that they are innocent.

To capture somebody from dashing, yea i might say that's honest. As a paramedic I spend a approaches too a lot time scraping teenage strategies from the pavement through fact some highschhol hero theory he became 2 quickly 2 livid, and somewhat oftentimes he crashes into yet another motor vehicle and takes some greater harmless lives with him, so i think of it rather is totally nicely worth it to have cops watch for irresponsible drivers.

So now you are an expert at determining if the crying of a suspected criminal is because of innocence and not remorse over what they did right? Truly gifted you are.....
I think I’m just going to chalk your question up to being naïve to the capabilities of a criminal who would do anything to be set free.

I remember a year ago in Kansas City, a woman was going to the hospital because she was bleeding from you know where and she was 3 months pregnant. The police pulled her over for expired plates. She pleaded with them to take her to the hospital but the told her "It's not our problem." They took her to jail and kept her there where she continued bleeding all night and begging to be taken to the hospital. The next day when she was released and miscarried the baby. Sometimes I think the police have too much power.

OK I agree with you, but when I was arrested I was crying massive amounts of tears and I was guilty as charged. lol. But I believe that "innocent until proven guilty" is basically thrown out anymore these days. What they should say is "guilty until proven innocent, or until the real criminal comes along".

They have the guns, you are at their mercy. I was a police officer in OC, CA for 2 years, and most of the people I arrested cried as well. the best liars can cry on demand.
