As others have already stated; no, there is no way to rehabilitate a sexual predator. Their sexual deviance is induced by their pleasure zone. One simple cannot train the pleasure zone to not find something enjoyable or arousing.
If one was to try something like shocking an offender any time he had a thought/desire about committing a sex crime, all that would do is incorporate the added stimulus to his arousal: so now you have a sexual deviant that gets extra stimulation via shocks. (Example - not suggesting anyone try this.)
Personally, I feel that all *proven* sexual offenders need chemical castration.

There are programs that claim to rehabilitate everyone for everything. In the case of sexual predators, no to be confused with some 'sexual offenses', I don't believe they actually work.

I've found that if a sexual predator has an outlet they do much better... So lots and lots of sex and roleplaying seems to do wonders. Seems to take the alternative desires right out of them... But that is just my experience.

once a sicko always a sicko !
Lock em' all up and throw away the key.
America is too soft on these people. Notice everything is a disease.....nobody is responsible because everyone is just "sick".

I think any addiction can be managed. 12 step programs really do work (I myself am a recovering meth user).
Can you get rid of the urges probably no. Everyday I still want to use drugs, probably will the rest of my life. I am just not going to today
Fortuantely, with drugs I tend to wreck my own life. Not someone else's.
Here in Texas they do have to option of chemical castration.

In my opinion, no. Some serious psychological counseling may help but I can't help but believe that anyone who has committed such an act once can't be trusted not to do it again.
