I really like the Miniature Pinscher breed. I currently have the privilege of owning 4 beautiful minpins. I also really like the Great Dane breed. I have been doing some research on the breed and would like to own one someday. These 2 breeds of dog are beautiful. Both have a variety of color to choose from. In my opinion, both would make excellent pets for the right owners.

Kimberly, that would have to be the Standard Poodle, of which I happen to be a breeder. I raised & trained Labs for over 20 yrs & came kicking & screaming to getting a Std for my wife - now ex. I figured it would be cheaper than sending her to a shrink. That was 14 yrs ago this month & acquiring that georgeous gentle giant changed my life forever! We just lost her last Dec @ the age of 13yrs 7mos. The Std Poodle is the smartest, most regal & loving canine on God's green earth. They aren't fru-fru dogs, either. The breed originated in Germany, not France thank you. The German word 'Pudel" means to splash about in water as they are the world's 1st curley coated water retreiver - they are HUNTERS! PS, have you ever noticed that when someone wants to improve a breed it's amost always crossbred with a Poodle?

The top of my list would have to be the greatest family dog there is. They are so lovable and love everyone. They are great with children, even baby's. The ABPT.
Right behind them would be the big fluffy adorable clown. The Old English Sheepdog.

Dog breeds are like races in humans. A generality. You can't judge a book by its cover. So you can't judge a human being by what color their skin is, where they come from, what language and religion they follow. Similarly I have met dogs of all breeds that are lovable, cute, loyal, intelligent etc etc. Mongrels included.

I think all breeds are great but I'd have to say my favorite, has always been Chihuahuas. I breed them and own eight. They are all my pride and joy, I adore them all, and I can't begin to imagine, what my life would be like without them in it.

i love pitbulls, chihuahuas, min pins, yorkies, huskies, great danes, and rotties. Only because I like the medium to large sized dogs. I also don't mind the little guys. I wouldn't mind having a min pin and a chihuahua and a yorkie. But right now I have 2 pitbulls.

I have loved mutts the most. A dog adopted me once named Chips. He was short and yellow and had been apparently been abused by its previous owner. He would sit quietly with me and was really sweet. He was like having another brother.
