All that time, and money, that was wasted fighting for a cause that 85% of Americans didn't want. And it's not over yet. After the 2008 election the weasels will bring up amnesty again, unless we change the format of Congress.
We also can't have a pro-amnesty president! Otherwise it will be another Jorge Bush-Mexican butt kisser in the White House!
If they just enforced our current laws, like cracking down on employers, the problem could be solved! If employers stop hireing these illegal alien criminals the job market would dry up and they would leave!

It's Not. Illegals are from many other nations and are Polygamists on the Sneak andMarry children as yung as 5 years old!!!! Most have Not been Immunized against Diseases. It's Not Racist to want to Protect yourself From things like Leprosy, Polio, Dyptheria, Smallpox, Tuberculosis. Some Illegals even attempt to use the 14th Amendment That was Intended for Slaves, former Slaves and their Descendants that ended in 1865! This failed attempt to make their case for Voluntarily Violating exsisting Laws against it. Let them Prove they were brought Here By Force and In Chains...They even tunnel through to get into Otay California and Arizona. I doubt it and the Fence should be 20 Ft Wide, 20 feet deep Mote filled with crocodiles and alligators, and 20 feet high with Barbed wire, electrified, with cameras and check underground for Tunnels they Build....then Americans will have a Secure Border

Read history, There have always been slave's in the US economy. Meaning there has always been a group of people that perform the meanal task to keep our economy going. Black, then the Chinese on the West coast. later the Eastern Europeans. The Irish. Everyone always complained about the lasted wave of immigrants. Now the Hispanic population are the lastest wave.
Will an American citizen work for minimum wage to pick watermelons in the hot Texas sun, hardly. You want to gripe about about the current situation. Complain about the people who pay these immigrants, They would not come over if the jobs were not here. Of course then they would have to pay citizens $10 an hour, and see how long they stay in business

YES! There are so many more things than this, but this is a good start to helping people to understand that the quality of life in America is going down due to the illegal immigration problem we are facing. The politicians need to step up and say NO MORE and actually do something about it. For the people who say these things are not accurate, they need to start watching the news, reading the newspaper and talk to people that it has affected in a terrible way.

You might ask yourself "Why would some politicians support this?" They're not stupid. There isn't some wealthy illegal immigrant lobby paying them off. Are they doing it just to make you mad, or do they maybe have some reasons that make sense to them?
The representatives of border states (and many others) hear every day from their constituents, espciially farmers and the owners of construction companies, that they can no longer find enough people to pick their crops or build their buildings. They can't find enough American citizens to do the work. Maybe if they paid a lot more this would change, but how much more are you willing to pay for food or a house? There have always been industries dependent on the labor of recent immigrants. Once it was the Irish and Italians, for a while it was the Chinese, now it's Mexicans and other Latin Americans. They come here because there's work for them. Most of them work hard, pay taxes, follow thw laws and take care of their families. Why wouldn't we want someone like that to become a citizen?

I agree with you. There are so many legal citizens in this country that could be helped by the money they are wasting of fighting for illegal criminals.

Yea, I know that our founding fathers are in heaven high-fiving each other and laughing with drinks in hand on the poor excuses of some politicians that we are stuck with.

I agree
Education would be a good place to focus that attention and those tax $$. Our education system is seriously broken and in definite need of repair. Enforcing the laws that we currently have sounds great to me, especially since our government has never really tried it to see if it works.

I think my tax dollars currently are being wasted more on earmarked bills and the war in Iraq.
Though yes, if you're going to play ball in regards to immigration, you should play by the rules and not by the almighty dollar.

They aren't fighting for the illegals, they are fighting for those who profit from hiring illegals.
