Man 2 "should" go to Hell if there is true justice.

But as you expect, christians are so sadistic people that they'll rather think that Man 1 should go.

the Bible is the only judge we have to go by and according to it neither are right

salvation is very clearly stated in the Bible in the Book of Acts in Chapter 2 Peter preached the first message and he answered the question what shall we do (to be saved was the implication to what Peter had just preached) in verse 38 is his answer. Jesus would save both if they obeyed his word and it is a human that puts different levels on sin all are the same to Jesus.

Neither -- hell is what you believe ( a part of your reality) In fact, for some unfortunate people, they believe and feel that they are in hell right now. The good news is you can change your perspective and attitude with positive thinking and mantras. Therefore, today can really become the first day of the rest of your life ( a life that you have chosen to live fully and equally enjoy fully).

Re: Man 2: Just because you go to church and believe in God and Jesus, this does not mean you are a Christian. A true Christian strives to be Christlike. Christ would never have done the things this man done. I gues the question would be did he repent, ask forgiveness and was he truly sorry for his actions. If yes, he gets a pass, if not, the heat is on.

Man 1: I guess not according to Christian beliefs but who are we to say?

We have not seen how the afterlife works so we cannot make conclusions. You see, when we were born in this world, we immediately said "I am here" at the age of around 5 which is when we become conscious. Maybe that's how life will end (as random as it began). Maybe we reincarnate maybe we go to a parallel universe which has been designated as "heaven" or "hell". Religions are philosophical mythologies and will remain unknown.

It would be wrong for some shmoe like me to give you an answer, when Jesus himself has actually given a thoughtful and direct answer to your question. So I will simply quote him.

Luke 18:9-14

He then addressed this parable to those who were convinced of their own righteousness and despised everyone else. "Two people went up to the temple area to pray; one was a Pharisee and the other was a tax collector.

The Pharisee took up his position and spoke this prayer to himself, 'O God, I thank you that I am not like the rest of humanity--greedy, dishonest, adulterous--or even like this tax collector.

I fast twice a week, and I pay tithes on my whole income.'

But the tax collector stood off at a distance and would not even raise his eyes to heaven but beat his breast and prayed, 'O God, be merciful to me a sinner.'

I tell you, the latter went home justified, not the former; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and the one who humbles himself will be exalted."

If you don't believe in God, how can you live with him eternally?

I believe everyone has a fair share of going to heaven but you have to believe there is a God to get there. I also believe you need to be a good person...sitting in the front of church every Sunday, Does NOT make you a good Christian

Man 1. God specifically gives you instructions for getting into Heaven in the Bible. Acts 2:38. It is about faith, not being a good person. Usually though, when someone has faith they follow the Bible and try to be a good person. Man 2 may have realized his mistakes and repented, whereas Man 1 may have told a white lie or had premarital sex and doesn't repent considering he doesn't believe.

nicely, what am i able to declare? The fundamentalists savor their bake revenues, yet they could't save their head off of what 2 human beings of an identical intercourse might do of their mattress room. each and every from time to time I swear that's a sexual obsession on their area, rewritten in some unusual religious way. Take Jerry Falwell died from a coronary heart attack after chowing on a William Maxwell Aitken and egg breakfast, even although he became very obese and carriers to cardiac issues. Falwell called the separation of church and state a gadget of "devil" and became between the main stressful warring parties of rules granting homosexuals equivalent rights. not that i think the two homosexuals or fat all of us is going to hell. i'm not religious. yet one group is statistically going to die before yet another group, and it rather is not the folk maximum church homes are focusing on...

Man2 should have Man1's qualities. We shall know Christians by their fruits. If he's still sinning, there remains no more sacrifice for sins, but grave judgement.

Thus, both would go to hell.

By both Protestant and Catholic theology person 1 goes to hell.

By Protestant theology, if person 2 is saved, he goes to heaven. By Catholic theology, if he is confessing all his sins and doing a LOT of penance each Sunday, he goes to heaven, but may still spend a lot of time in purgatory, because few will likely pray for him while he's there.

By Diminati theology, they both cease to function at death and their bodies decompose.
