I am not God so I can't say if He would allow them to go to heaven. What I believe though, is that asking for forgiveness has to be sincere and is it really sincere to ask for forgiveness for something you are about to do that is wrong and then still do it? That is not sincerity. Now if you didn't die right away and you were truely sorry you tried to commit suicide in the first place and you wish you could take it back. I think we have a fair and just God. He is always with you if you call on him in your time of need.

First, no. There is no hell.
From a theological view point, yes. Otherwise all the people who really believed that they could commit suicide and still get to heaven would do it.
First, heaven is supposed to be so much better than it is here, so why stay?
Second, why take a chance that you might do something in the future that would send you to hell?
Remember religion was invented by man to control people while they are alive. Religions that say suicide is O.K. and heaven is really great tend not keep members for long enough. The ones that have tended to have a clause along the lines of: Suicide is O.K. as long as you donate everything to the priests first.
To me, death is the end, the ceasing to be of my cognizance. I might commit suicide at some point in my life, but only if my options were severe suffering leading to death or suicide. To me the only fate worse than death is a lingering painful death.

Boy, this is a sensitive subject...
I believe that when a person commits suicide there is a part of them that is very ill. Would God turn his back on someone that is ill? Not the God I worship.
I feel sorry for the person who commits suicide. They cheat themselves out of the life they could have had. I personally believe, that when that soul gets to Heaven, they get to see how things would have gotten better, had they continued with their life. I believe that the "soul" is unhappy when they see all that they will now miss out on. Wishing they had given it just one more day....wishing they had given their lives just one more chance.
When a person has depression so badly, that they want to kill themselves, that's the time to get help AND FAST. That person doesn't realize that the depression CAN get better with counseling and probably anti-depressants. When they get to feeling better, they look back at that time when they wanted to end it all and say to themselves, "Whew, I'm glad I gave it one more chance."
I've been there personally and have gotten through the toughest times in my life. Boy, am I glad that I gave it, "Just one more day." To think of all that I would have missed out on, it makes me weep.

If there were a God and a Hell, according to the Bible, yes, they would go to Hell. You can't ask forgiveness and then do something bad anyway.

Yes, because the point of forgiveness is never to do it again. It is like saying forgive me Lord I am about to kill this person and still do it, knowing it is wrong. If you have the choice of not killing the person-don't.

that would be the most idiotic attempt at rational logic... Hell is the place for that person... suicide is a sin which you can't ask for forgiveness from because you ask for forgiveness after the act not before .. and seeing that you are dead by then... well its too late to ask for forgiveness

Don't kill yourself. You're probably quite young. Life will get better. Forget God's forgiveness, your family and friends will never forgive you. It's the worst betrayal you can ever commit against the people who love you.

Yes you still would, it is a sin to kill yourself whether you ask forgiveness or not, its like saying; Well God I know this is wrong, but I'm gonna do it anyway, forgive me?

The isn't any place in the Bible where it says you will go to Hell for killing yourself. That is a Catholic tradition. Catholics don't follow the teachings of the Bible. They follow the Pope.
