most people are selfish bastards, so they don't support it.
i don't support it because of just how true it is. you can't ask anything of your country cuz they can't do it for you anyway, so you might as well just do stuff for them.
i worded that wrong and it makes no sense...but oh well.

I think the majority of people don't. I think most people exspect that it's their leaders job to change the country not theirs. Not saying everyone does of course i think some poeple still go by that quote but not the majority of the population.

No. All anyone wants to do is make fun of Bush. I think they should get over it and pull together and support him. Like it or not, he's in office. We would be better off if we just laid off the Bush jokes and tried to be as united as a country as we used to be.

...I wish all of us had this attitude, but many people are so used to receiving government (taxpayer-funded) handouts, that many believe that health care, housing, jobs, etc, are their inherited rights as Americans - this is illogical and is not found anywhere in the Constitution. And many are lazy and will continue to stay on government teat as long as they can.
...Understand that I am not against helping those who need it, but the best thing (after marriage) that most people can do is to have steady job and learn how to take care for themselves.

I was going to answer this, but after I read my answer, I decided it was to truthful....since most people can't handle the truth...but, if this statement was true today the military forces wouldn't be so small and Guard/Reserve units wouldn't have to constantly be sent as the mainline forces...

I can try to educate others on how the system really is and that the people in power are not here to help us, they are hear to gain money and more power.

Yes I support this idea mainly because if you "do for you country" then your country is able to "do for you".
