I appreciate all the feedback. It is positive and I really just am curious to understand this.

To James: As a Jew, I have been told many many times by people trying to convert me that I am going to hell because I dont belive Jesus is the Messiah. (which all jews believe the same so I have to make that assumption)

Did he go to hell? Yes. To preach salvation to the "souls in prison" The Apostle's Creed is clear on that: "He (Jesus) descended into hell". 1 Peter 4:6 is also clear: "For this reason the gospel was preached also to those who are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit."

Any other questions before I sign-off?

Jesus is God, so He will not be in Hell. Jews won't be either. Jesus was raised Jewish, and yet He was the Messiah, so He didn't agree with the Jewish idea that the Messiah was yet to come. God has a place prepared for them, because they are His chosen people. He promised Abraham He would take care of them.

Jesus was Jewish, but loved to prod at the religious structure of the day. There are many instances in the NT where Jesus went out of his way to argue with the leading Rabbis of the day, just to point out the hypocrasy within the religious beliefs of the times.

I think that if Jesus were alive today, he would be doing the same thing to the Christian leadership in power, and most Christians would hate him and call him a heretic, just like the Jews did 2000 years ago.

None of it is real.

Jesus said He was the Way to the Father. I believe Jesus is the Messiah that the Jews have been and are looking for.

It's simple really:
We are saved by love and faith in Jesus over deeds.
That doesn't mean Jesus goes to hell. Jesus believed in himself.
I want to clear something up though. If someone tells you it's your fault that Jesus was on the cross, you can tell them that according to the Bible, Jesus went by choice. Don't let people treat you badly because you're Jewish.

Dear Friend,

It is not up to anybody to condemn anybody else, I entrust all Judgement to Jesus, because I am imperfect and sinful. Hellm in the eternal fire sense is a misteaching of the modern churche, as is the Trinity. Jesus was not God, he was the son of God, many Christians are now beginning to cut through the mist of man made doctrine and get to the truth.

Please goto this website, which is based 100% of Bible truth and not on the misteachings of man

The Jews are God' chosen people and are not 'going to Hell' just because they are of my brother Judah.

Furthermore, you are correct, Christ as The Son of Man was Jewish.

Oh my gawd a person who is actually interlectual, one who knows whats what, well done go to the head of the class,
yes the jews and the arabs are fighting each other, but why as the both believe in god or christ, but we know throughout history it's about land, and that is their downfall,as the land is not theirs to own,it belongs to no one man,it belongs to a group of men,and they were called deciples of christ, then along came the infedels from England,on their crusade
and they took over ownership, then further down the line came the Romans, then Rommel, then the arabs again,
later on in history the jew's took it back, now who does it really belong to and if you say the arabs you would be wrong
Read the bible properly and you will see that your good book is incomplete-not finished,so you can all shut your cakeholes and stop this bicering as none of you know anything.

Jesus actually did go to Hell, if you'll recall, but once he rose from the dead, a new religion was founded, making him, if anything a Christian. But Jesus isn't really bound by the same rules, is he? He is a part of God.

I believe the story goes that he did go to hell for three days and rose again, going to heaven and opening the gates. But it's been a while. And Jews are going to "hell" because they don't believe Jesus was God. I suppose if Jesus was God then he knew he was God and believed in himself, therefor going to heaven. LOL
