Yes, its common knowledge that it is a very bad stainer like coffee. But if you drink some water and flush your mouth after you drink red wine it helps with preventing the staining. The water takes out the fluid and then helps produce saliva which protects your teeth from acidic food and drink.

Brush your teeth after your night of drinking the wine. Also, use Crest Whitening strips. I have the same problem and keep my teeth white just by brushing after wine and using the strips. Other than that, red wine will make your teeth anf gums look darker, especially before brushing. Also, you can switch to white wine. With summer coming, that should be easy.

i guess over time if you really drink a lot it will especially cheap wine, but so what as long as you have a good time just keep on brushing and use a very good brush and toothpaste.

Worse than coffee, but it is really good for you(lots of antioxidents) AND tastes good so sigh, you can't have everything!
