I WILL AGREE W/ SOME THAT THIS IS A VERY CORRUPT TIME FOR ALL. BUT, ON JAN,2000, WE DID IN FACT ENTER THE 3RD MILLENNUIM OF THE ANNO DOMINI CALENDER, THE GLOBALLY ACCEPTED METHOD FOR THE DATING OF TIME. IT IS THE MOMENT WHEN THE REMMANTS OF PISCEAN AGE R WASHED AWAY TO BRING IN THE AGE OF AQUARIUS, THE PERIOD THAT NEW BELIEVERS THINK COULD LEAD TO THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A UTOPIA ON EARTH. THE MAJORITY OF PEOPLE DEC, 31/99. WAS THE TIME TO CELEBRATE PAST & ENVISION THE DEVELOPMENT OF A BETTER FUTURE,IT MARKED A BETTER TIME OF ONCE IN A OPPORTUNITY TO START THE NEXT STAGE OF R EVOLUTION. SOME OF US THINK AS I DO THAT THERE IS A SINISTER SIDE TO THE ADVENT OF THE MILLENNUIM. WHICH BRINGS FEAR, OF OUR HUMAN PSYCHE,THE END" STARTING IN THE EARLY 2000. MIXING OF LEGEND, FOLKLORE, RUMOUR, RELIGION,PROPHECY AND PREDICTION CAN AMALGAMATE INTO AN ALL-EMBRACING FEAR OF EXTINCTION, AS DEMONSTRATED BY THE RISE N THE #s OF MILLENNIAL CULTS W/ APOCALYPTIC VISIONS OF THE YR, 2000.WE HAVE TO GREET W/LOVE

January 1st 2000 was start of a new month, new year and new century as per this Roman calendar. It is not reference to the history of the world but upto some limits we can imagine the distance of some event from us. Jesus peace be upon him was born approximately 2000 years ago a few days before or after. Prophet Mohammad peace be upon him announced his prophethood 1400 years ago. Even we did less good before we can aim at more goods. and also we must be thankful to Allah (God) for giving us another time for life on this earth and to correct ourself etc. etc..........

We entered the year 2000, the last year of the millenium.

The new millenium started on 1-1-01.

I guess we're supposed to be proud of our accomplishments, but seeing as we STILL don't have flying cars, I don't think we've really come that far.

We entered into January 2, 2000 and that was all. We certainly have nothing to celebrate:
we have nutcases running around the world blowing up innocent women and children.
we have people who are wallowing so deeply in their own sin that they disrespect even the very streets that Christ carried his bloody Cross on, by wearing womens clothing and prancing like some kind of
weirdo's with gay pride ringing in the streets.
We have God thrown out of the public schools and replaced by first graders being taught how to have gay sex.
We have tv news footage airing showing
gay pride floats passing where they had to black out the first float, but if you were present, as thousands did report, it was because those fat men in pink babydoll nighties would smile, wave to the crowd, french kiss and fondle each others penis, then wave to the crowd again.
We have lost the complete knowledge of
the Aids virus, even though it has reached epidemic proportions, yet we promote one of its risk factors to children.
We have the churches who are supposed to be upholding the laws and statutes of God, but instead they are replacing it with false doctrine and gay pastors living in sin.

We have fathers who are absent.
We have mothers who prefer a good career to staying at home with their kids.
We have children who let themselves in to an empty home, and end up raising themselves.
We have people so steeped in drug use, that they cannot even function in society.
We have children murdering children.
We have children raping elderly women.

What exactly do we have to celebrate? I heard a gay woman on tv say that she is
so happy that finally all of us can live free,
and who was talking about legislation that passed the house to stop Pastors and Priests from reading from the Book of Romans or Corinthians. She is celebrating the fact that she may be taking away the freedom of speech and freedom of religion of millions of people. She is CELEBRATING THAT. Its not freedom, its only HER OWN glory in that she can silence people from telling the truth: that she is happily wallowing in her own destruction.

I have a little boy. He is 7yrs old. They want to teach him how to have gay sex without breaking blood vessels. He does not even know about normal sexual relations yet.
Do you think I should celebrate that?

No, I celebrate nothing that I see today; They may just as well put a big sign up at every border: WELCOME TO SODOM.
HAVE A WONDERFUL VISIT. CU M AGAIN.

There was nothing special about Jan. 1, 2000. It was simply the beginning of the LAST year of the 20th century.

The millennium did not start until January 1,2001 because there was no year 0. Also, we do not live in a universe of love, hope and understanding. Should that occur, we will let you know.
