I do it simple-simplicity is truths best garb. I dont choose the marbled-the fat is still in there-I get the leanest piece with the least fat on the edge-not the one with no fat-London broil- if its thick cut =over an inch thick- I cut it to 3/4 inch thick-side ways and 6-10 inches in length.

cooking i am with the majority medium rare- if you like it more well done-leave it in till it meats/lol meets your standards.

salt and peper meat tenderize and fork it about 10 times each side, and put it in the broiler- and flip a couple of times at 8 minute interviles-browning each side. then i cut out the none raw part -a few inches in all around-that part is medium rare-and broil the center a few more minutes-then take that out too-do not leave it in or it will overcook with residual heat.

YUMMMM and some food for the soul=pray before eating thanking Jesus in his amazing grace to bless the food and our service to him from its energy. (John 3-repent of sin and let Jesus in heart)TY

Well, you know, Jesus would probably kasher the steak first.
Medium rare or anything with blood in it is forbidden and Jesus wouldn't have it any other way.
And of course, he would not use any dairy products when grilling or eating the steak.
Naturally, he would also recite a Berakah before and after eating.

So, enjoy your steak!
Shalom!

OK, your man loves steak and you don't know what is good, have I got this right? Steak is a manly thing. Here is what you have to do, bite the bullet and eat a little steak. I assume your stove has a broiler, close to a grill. Get a couple of rib eye or T-bone steaks, yes you will have to eat one. Season with pepper. Place on broiler pan and place about 3-4" under broiler for 5 minutes. keep oven door cracked open a few inches. Turn the steaks and put back in. Keep checking the steaks and when the juices are coming up they are medium rare, perfect. Work on your side dishes figuring it is only going to take 10-15 minutes to broil the steaks.

Wow you have a complicated system.

I don't eat it but I do know how to cook it.

Get some good meat, lean because fat detracts from the meat taste. Salt & pepper.

Stick on bbq or grill on high, sear both sides to seal in the juices, then reduce the heat and leave on for the desired outcome, be it medium rare or well done. The way to tell is by poking the meat, the softer it is when poked the more rare it is, the stiffer the more well done.

No complicated cutting, or weird cutting out of the center, just a steak that's intact and cooked to perfection, with all the flavour sealed inside.

Your way is way too complicated.

use whatever kind of rub/seasoning you want, the on a GRILL turn up the heat so when you put the steak on it actually sears the side on the grill to keep the juices from being cooked out. Reduce heat. after some time, flip the steak. Steaks don't need to be forked

This is my preference. Different people like different things.

Are you asking a question?
First of, you've never had a grilled steak if you are picking pieces without any marbling. Get back to us when you know what a real steak is.

A steak that isn't well marbled with fat would sure be cheaper, but it would be like eating a bicycle tire. I'll keep getting the good cuts, thanks. They're worth the extra money!
