Well, I'd hope we'd be received with the same respect that anyone else would.
For all those people who say 'God doesn't make mistakes'...you're probably right. In which case, being transsexual isn't a mistake; God meant for us to be this way, for his own reasons (perhaps to test the tolerance of others?)
We're not transvestites, we're not all homosexual (some of us are, some of us aren't); we're just people, trying to live with a congenital medical condition.

No, being a transvestite is not okay. A transvestite is someone who wears the clothes of the opposite sex. This is forbidden in the Bible. Deut. 22:5, “A woman shall not wear man’s clothing, nor shall a man put on a woman’s clothing; for whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord your God." The reason it is wrong is because it obscures the distinction between male and female, blurs the pattern of the created order of male and female (Gen. 1:27), and has the potential of promoting homosexuality. We are created as male and female and need to act according to the sex that God has ordained for us.
Just because someone is a homosexual does not mean that we cannot love him (or her) or pray for him (her). Homosexuality is a sin and like any other sin, it needs to be dealt with in the only way possible. It needs to be laid at the cross, repented of, and never done again.
As a Christian, you should pray for the salvation of the homosexual the same you would any other person in sin. The homosexual is still made in the image of God -- even though he is in grave sin. Therefore, you should show him same dignity as anyone else you come in contact with. However, this does not mean that you are to approve of their sin. Don't compromise your witness for a socially acceptable opinion that is void of godliness.

?? kind of confused by your question. I am a christian/catholic. The way I am taking your question is how do I look at someone like that.
I look at them as a human being. It is not up to me to be judgmental, because one day I will stand and be judged. The way I see it is why can't God make a mistake once in a while. Also what is to say that I am living the right way. The bible is what man wrote, translated, and rewrote. Heavens knows that we are far from perfect.

Excellent question -- though not easy to answer.
a) I believe that God does not make mistakes. I don't believe that switching genders is something that God approves of -- it is saying that we (imperfect mortals) know better than God what His purpose is for us.
b) Anyone who tries to follow the teachings of Christ (i.e. a Christian) will receive a transexual with love, understanding, and fellowship. Even if God condems that action, it is not up to us to judge. Only God knows our hearts, our experiences, backgrounds, etc. Only God is capable of judging our souls. Our responsibility is to love, serve, and protect eachother.

Tell that to the malformed starz
I think most Christians would react very similarly to the way that Starz did. "God doesn't make mistakes so keep your willy attached."
This ignores the fact that the person is obviously struggling with identity, so they are having problems with their mind. Either they were mis-created by having male genitalia, or they were mis-created with a brain that says they shouldn't have one. Either way, God made a boo boo if he exists.
And if Judah is right then, he made a boo boo, and will punish the mistake with eteral torture, as a result.

I would accept them for who they are and trust that God knows their heart.
Lion of Judah. .. if we use the OT to point out sins, then we must also try to get Red Lobster closed down and Jimmy Dean's Sausage.

I would lead them in the Word of God. If they persist in living this perverse lifestyle, then I would do what Jesus commanded; "Cast not your pearls before swine" and I would seperate myself from them. It is a lie from hell to blame God for an individual's choice in any area, much less sexual preference.
