I was told that being hit by pidgeon poop is supposed to be good luck. Has anyone ever heard of this?

As opposed to getting hit with the whole pidgeon, it is good luck.

It may come from a a Chinese legend of a bird called the Fu.
It was thought to be good luck if the Fu bird pooped on your head. If a person wiped it off they would supposidly be turned to stone. As the legend goes, a man named Fong was walking down a street when a Fu bird swooped down and pooped on his head. Fong instinctivly wiped it off and was immediately turned to stone.
The moral of this legend: If the Fu s*h*i*t*s - wear it.
