Ok for the past two years I keep having the same dream about my ex fiance. Its always so real and in the dream we both know that we are married to different people now and all but we still are in love.We kiss, hold one another and everything and he always has to answer his phone when his wife calls in the dream and then it usually ends.I don't talk to him at all anymore and I have been married for over a year.He married this girl that he worked with 3 months after we broke up and we were together for over two years. My husband and I fight ALOT and he's very verbally abusive. All I know is that I dream this all the time and when I wake up,I actually can feel how hurt I am.I even cry when I wake up.Can someone please help me to understand what is going on.I need some friends not anyone being dumb about this because I cant take it anymore,I miss him sooo much!!!

Maybe the memory of him is fulfilling a need that isn't there with your husband? You miss something that you don't have now.
It doesn't necessarily mean that you want your ex back - it's what he represents. The dream sounds filled with feelings of love, comfort, security & acceptance...do you have those things in your marriage? If not, I think that's why you keep having the dream. Those feelings are what you long for. You just need to figure out how to get them.
Good luck

Well, it could just be a dream, but there are such things as seeing things that are going to happen in the future in your dreams.
Maybe it means you might make up with him while he's married, so you kiss or something and his wife finds out he's cheating. I'm not sure...but it might just be a regular dream.
Have you ever read the series Blue is for Nightmares, White is for Magic, Silver is for Secrets, and Red is for Remeberance? Well, it might be kind of like those dreams, but remember:It might just be a regular dream.
Good luck! =D

On a psychological perspective, our dreams are products of our subconcious thoughts. Probably your repressed emotions come out when your asleep. And these include you missing him, having thoughts "what if" you married him and not your husband. Regrets in the choices you made probably, but thats life honey. If you can handle the option of talking things with your husband about his verbal abuse, do so. Resolving this may lessen your unwanted dreams. Good luck!

I call them regret dreams. I have them all the time too! About a woman who I never got to know but so badly wanted to meet. She filled my life with a happiness and we never even spoke. She was in a different world then mine. a world I was not allowed in. In the dream I see her and the sadness of never getting to even speak to her once is compunded a million times. I wake up sick and desperatly sad. So depressed I don't want to move. I hate it. Get a divorce. Do things the right way.

Sounds to me like you never truly cut the coord between you and your ex. With the current hubby being a dirtball, your mind reverts to times when you truly were happier. Good luck with your future pursuits.
