I have a 2pound Yorkie. She is very tiny. She always has had a problem with weezing and gasping for air when she gets reall excited, but i figured it was becuase her lungs we really small. Last night she woke up at 3:30 in the mroning and couldnt stop sneezing. I was like a non-stop continuious sneezing and weezing. I got her u[p and made her walk around the house and drink some water, but it contiued for about an hour. I felt bad for her because i really couldnt do anything to make it stop. Is theie anything ic ould do to help her wheezing and sneezing?

she should see a vet to determine the cause she could have Asama ( know it's spelled wrong) or something else. And that small you really need to be careful with any over the counter meds such as benadryl which would not help Asama
The vets is the best answer

I have a jack russel with allergies and I give her benadrly but you have a very very small dog and the wrong dose can be very dangerous to yours- you do need to ask your vet - it would just talk a phone call to them to ask the dosage for your dog- My dog gets much relief from it. I hope all works out for you. Good luck

Why can't your vet help you? I don't know that these are symptoms of allergies - it could be a collapsed trachea or some kind of respiratory ailment. In any case, your dog needs to go to the vet - that's the place to go for answers.

If it is really allergies take her to the vet, they have meds for animal allergies just like they do people allergies. My cat has to have allergy shots. Also, if you smoke, stop smoking in your house. Don't use the carpet powder on your carpet. That made my cats allergies act up.

Try the CHILD~S Benedryl melt in your mouth.....only about a half strip or less because she is so tiny..That should help immensely...There is something in your environment she is having a reaction to...could be inside or something outside blooming...If continues please get her to the vet....he CAN do something to make it stop.
