about what i want to do in my spare time, not seeking advice. are guys my age 28, scared of girls their own age. i am more comfortable with girls older or younger than me. girls from 22 - 28 i can't be comfortable with. i am a shy boy. sometime i wish someone would just grab me and give me a hug and sit on my lap, that's all i want some loving, cos i don't get it from my parents and i feel deprived.

Well...The real test is the maturity levels of the individuals, not the age difference. Are you both at the same level of maturity? If not, there will be problems. If so, you can keep growing together. Significant age differences can be abnormal but do not have to be. They happen for all sorts of reasons. They can be very beneficial or harmful… depending on the individuals. If the youngest is a very mature person, it can work. And the older person can mentor and teach the younger a lot of things… and not just about sex. Although learning how to make love is an acquired skill. Learning how to be a good partner is also an acquired skill set. But in general, the risks out weigh the benefits.

You have answered to your question yourself: you feel more confortable with younger or older chicks just because you're a shy guy. Being with a younger/older girl means making you feel superior to her (in both cases). When with a younger girl your superiority expresses in your richer life experience (at least your believing so), older age, etc. When with an older girl your superiority is in your 'bio-social' status -- a younger male is nearly always more attractive to an older female. Being a shy guy you get used to count on your superiorities in both cases for not making too much effort in having a chick get interested in you. You let her do the job. When with a girl of your age you SHOULD be equal, but since you're shy, you most probably fail to be as active as her, hence you feel discomfort. As a result, the chick feels your discomfort too and she makes an oppinion about you, not a good one, she changes her attitude and you get dismissed. Sorry for straghtness if it offends you. Maybe I'm wrong. However, what concerns a 28 y.o. guy dating a 19 y.o. chick -- that's cool. I find it quite normal and very exciting. 19 is a legal age for having sex, so there should nothing that could restraing you from beating her beaver :) Good luck.

Not a problem. My husband was 28 and I was 18 when we first started going out together. A 19 year old girl is well mature enough to be going out with an older guy.

Dry your eyes mate. A lot of people don't get the perfect upbringing. They don't blame their bad love life on it. If you like a 19 yo, just go for it. It's legal and a lot of 28 yo's would love to go out with a 19 yo.
Personally, I couldn't. That age are too much hard work (I am 25) but it's a case of each to their own.

Nothing's stopping you from dating a 19 year old, but you have to remember, she won't stay that age forever. Are you going to dump her on her 22nd birthday and tell her to come back when she turns 29?
If you're that insecure around women your own age and still dependent on your parents for affection, maybe you should call up a therapist before you go asking anyone out.

i know you dont want an answer but this is how i feel about it...age 'anit' nothing but a number. i dont think it's you at all maybe it's the immature females that are in your age ranges. about the younger females, now there's nothing wrong with dating younger females either especially if they're mature and they know how to treat you. I'm 19 myself but i am not your average 19 year old lady. do whatever makes you happy, although I'm sure you're going to do that anyways.

19 & 28 is ok. She is over 18 & it's only a 9 year difference.
I'm 26 & there's 14 years difference between me & my partner. It just depends on the individuals.

I think a twenty- eight year old man would love to date a nineteen year old girl, but will he take the relationship seriously. Will he view her as his equal and value her opinion?It really depends on the person. Older guys tend to use young girls for sex purposes, because they tend to be a bit eager and naive. Maturity really knows no age or time, its comes those who learn and earn it.

but i dont know if you should take advice from me though. I was asking a question a while ago if a 27 year old would date me and im 17. haha.
But idk i can sort of relate, because I always date guys older than me because i dont like guys my age. but not really younger though. because then there like 14 and 13. and yeah thats creepy. but yeah umm idk.

I don't think it's a big problem, to be honest. It's not a massive age gap. I'm 19 and wouldn't have a problem about seeing people older than me.
