Get a strawberry lemonade. Cold, so you don't risk burning your mouth. And you can drink it with a straw, so you reduce the risk of spilling on your blouse. Besides, it's hot out...the lemonade will feel good.

So you are applying for a job working at a Starbucks? Or is that just where you are meeting for an interview? . . . .Anyhow, if you are going to work at Starbucks, don't worry they have a VERY intense training program and you will learn the menu. If you are just looking for something to order today, and don't want caffeine, maybe try an herbal tea, or a Frappachino in a fruit flavor or vanilla bean might be best.

Do they do interviews at the tables there? If you are going to the Managers office then you shouldn't order anything to drink.
If it is casual like that then I guess order something cold to drink with a straw.
Here is a list of the items they have, might want to get to know the menu.
Good Luck

You kind of have to like coffee to work at Starbucks. They like their employees to know the products. We used to do coffee tastings all the time, and were encouraged to try everything. So be careful about what you say about caffeine, since they might ask you why you aren't interested in a coffee drink. But, you may be able to get away with ordering one of their cream drinks, they don't have caffeine and are frozen like a frappuccino...
You might want to stop in a bit early and look at the menu... Also, go to www.starbucks.com to see about their coffees. You'll want to know the differences between the kinds of coffees (mild, bold, etc.)
Here's a brief overview on some of their drinks since it doesn't sound like you know much about it...
Espresso: a very stong type of coffee, the basis for all their espresso drinks...
Dopio: Double Espresso
Cappucino: shot of espresso, milk and foam... about 1/2 foam
Latte: like a cappucino, but more milk, less foam.
Carmel Machiato: A latte with carmel
Frappucino: Made with a blender. Mixing ice, coffee (French Roast, I think) and their special frappucino liquid. (flavors: coffee, mocha, carmel, and other seasonal flavors)
Blended Cream (I think that's what they call it): like frappucinos but without the coffee
There's more of course... just a bit to get you started...
