I am very happy for you that you are studying and want to get baptized. My Wife and I got baptized in August 1996 and life is beautiful. There are many faithful Brothers and Sisters on Yahoo Answers that truly love Jehovah and their neighbor. Pray to Jehovah for wisdom and continue to read God's Word the Bible daily. When you read the Bible you are spending time with Jehovah and that is precious. The more you study the more you will grow. Love and greetings from your Brother and Sister Weeks Long Beach California.

I can not read this wailing wall of blah blah blah without getting a head ache but i can tell you i have heard it all before and even seen videos it always adds up to this Nothing to do with the fact that it is a progressive truth the light of it gets brighter not like cave man close minded belief's we at one time conducted ourselves even as the nations do right down to smoking. having the cross on the watchtower and holidays but as we continue to study Gods word we find the need to make adjustments Kind of like looking the mirror you should try it dig in your past how many people have been slaughtered in the name of the cross or because they believed different than you it comes down to what the disciples told jesus where can we go there is no teaching that is progressively getting clearing in the name of Jehovah and jesus promoting God's kingdom all over the world unifying all nations with the truth about God the God of issac jacob abraham, moses, jesus and Jehovah's witnesses I implore you to dig deeper about what you think is truth Jesus was the last prophet for us so we are just looking to scripture to be fulfilled how and when is the question of most

Because he studies the Bible and has the help of good Bible study aids such as those produced by the Watchtower Society and www.watchtower.org. (Well that does not mean that 'he' knows alot, it just means that he knows where to find the answers.
I know alot about Jehovah's Witnesses because I listen to talks on the www.jwproclaimers.org site. That is where one gets official information about Jehovah's Witnesses because what is more official than our meetings and assemblies.

Why does the Jehovah's Witnesses leaders not allow members to question their Commands? Also, why do you pick and choose verses from the Scriptures to suit your beliefs? And one last thing, Do you accept Jesus Christ as God 's Son?
I feel that you have used this site as a means of trying to draw more people into you beliefs.
May you come to know Jesus Christ, the Risen and Eternal Son of God, as your Lord and Saviour. May God Bless you all.

We do go door to door and this is because we are following the command given to us from Jesus Christ to "Go therefore and make disciples of all people." We come back to your houses in case something has changed your mind, i.e. a death in your family, or other tragedy. We also know that there are people who move in and out, so we are looking for new people in the neighborhood. If you really do not want the witnesses to come to your door, please put up a No Trespassing sign. We will respect it.

Anyone who does not accept the deity of Jesus Christ does not know how to rightly handle the Word of God.

Our brother does not chat. He uses his abilities to help everyone come to an accurate knowledge of the scriptures. He is humble, as we all should be, and does not draw attention to himself.
He is definitely a Witness in good standing and would rather you not zero in on him.

The only people that support Jehovah's Witnesses are Jehovah's Witnesses. Of course he's a JW. He twists scripture well. (Did I just compliment him?). No offense, AH, you can send me a barb now...
