God has created a universe with physical laws so that we can, to some degree, know what will happen in the future. In other words, we can often recognize cause and effect. If we didn't have physical laws, all would be chaos.
If God should stop some things, e.g. hurricanes, where should He stop? Maybe it should just rain on your garden but not on you.
I'm saying that either we have physical laws or unspeakable chaos and if we have physical laws, we have the possibility of hurricanes and the like.

These events are simply part of life on this planet, and have been for EONS. Thus we must accept them as such. If you do not wish to encounter them, then DON'T LIVE WHERE THEY HAPPEN, instead of blaming "God" when you get caught up in one! It's pretty STUPID to complain about floods while living in a river basin, or tornadoes and hurricanes when living in the Southern United States! Also, a very great deal of the climate irregularities nowadays are, despite all claims to the contrary, caused by the effect of our destructive, polluting lifestyle upon the earth, no matter what anyone claims to the contrary, therefore "natural disasters" must be accepted as part of the "price we pay", and not shoved off onto "God".

To harvest the ripe crop and then sow new one. The crop of our heads who have gone astray is ripe and ready for a violent harvest. If you play with nature or God's laws this is what you get.
