Yes. It is two vials one powder one liguid. You draw the liquid into the syringe and then put it in the powder than into the syringe and then give to pup under neath skin of neck. cost is about 6 dollars and syringe is included. SHould have also been given a basic dewormer nemex or strongid are most effective for pups and the sweet taste is their treat after getting the shot.

Correct on the lepto. Many dogs are allergic to it and it causes a reaction that has to be followed by an analgesic shot.

Few people on here give great advice but every time axeptdatruth comes on here with whatever name he is always on his toes.

Loki rocks every question too.

Canine Distemper-Adenovirus Type 2-Coronaviurs-Parainfluenza- Parvoviurs Vaccine
That's one of your 5-ways

With the added Leptospira Bacterin
That's is one of your 6-ways
DON'T GET THE LEPTO VACCINE

The 7-way includes two types of Hepatitis vaccines.

Talk to your vet about the Leptospira Vaccine. I just went to the vet and we talked about how her clinic dropped the Leptospira Vaccine altogether because of the many side effects and some deaths related to the Leptospirosis vaccine.
Seems like everybody else agrees.
P.S.
I agree on the 5-way only unless like one of posts stated if you are near cattle. Personally I vaccinate for Lepto but we have a variety of livestock. My vet also states that smaller breeds are at a higher risk of death and side effects from the Lepto Vaccine but she has noted in all breeds. Make sure you investigate your vaccines thoroughly. Call your vet or a teaching University or check out some sites that have been made available to you.
I don't recommend that you buy your own vaccine to administer yourself until you become more aware of the available vaccines and their benefits and dangers.

yes therei s a 7 in 1 but it includes teh lepto and this a lot of dogs get an allergic reaction to can die from.
most people now only use the 6 in 1 which no longer has teh lepto in it.
The pup shouls have been wormed as well but do be watching for signs of coccidia which is in all puppy 's systems and stress such as leaving momm and going to a new home can bring it on.This can cause diarhea and can eventually cause death.
If the pup has diarhea for any reason for more than a day get it to the vets as a pug is small and can dehydrate quickly.
Good Luck with your new pup

It depends on when the puppy was born and who did the shots. If they weren't administered by a vet you cannot be sure that the vaccine was properly stored and not expired. You should always take a new pet to the vet within a few days of its arrival. Take the list along to the vet, who will tell you what if anything still needs to be given.

Current protocol is a DAPP.
Anything more than this is an overload on the pup's immune system.
Corona is no longer even recommended by the vet schools.
Here is the Wisconsin University weblink

Another site which has the current protocol of all the vet schools in the U.S. is The American Animal Hospital Association http://www.aahanet.org

In my area it is very important to vaccinate against lepto. You need to talk with someone to find out if your area is susceptible also. I live in an area with lots of cattle who also have to be vaccinated against Lepto. Do your research, it might be worth the risk.
