Wow, what a question. The modern day equivalent to Sodom and Gomorrah is practically every single City in the World of today. I said "practically every", there are still some that hold fast to morals and self-disipline, but they are far and few;
When you see a parade float out in clear view as two homosexual men wave and smile to the crowd as they french kiss and fondle each others penis; you are in Sodom or Gomorrah.
When you sit in absolute horror as you see that same crowd prancing their sin down the same route that Christ carried his blood-soaked cross, you are in Sodom or Gomorrah.
When you read that God is being thrown out of the Public Schools and then being replaced with FIRST GRADE CHILDREN being taught how to have safe homosexual sex; you are in Sodom or Gomorrah.

When you see legislation being introduced to the Senate that will make it illegal for a Priest or Pastor to teach the Books of Romans and Corinthians, because it sheds light on the profanity of the people, then you are in Sodom or Gomorrah.

Christ will not destroy the Earth; He will destroy all the evil rudiments from off of
the Earth; nothing that offends will remain.

As for a person who is trying to do their best, and who is NOT ungodly, that person has nothing to fear: there is no friendly fire;
you are protected of God, and that all-consuming fire that will burn the evil rudiments off of the Earth, will only feel to you as the warmth of a fire feels when you sit comfortably in front of it. You would be
comfortable in it, as it will not affect even a hair on your head, which are all numbered.

If you in any way contribute to the flushing of the Nations down the Sodom toilet, then you have PLENTY TO FEAR. You will
be removed, and nothing that is left will
be offensive. Those who choose to mock and ridicule their God should give some thought to it, as it will come down right on their heads along with those perverted minds who would put up a sign "Welcome to downtown beautiful Sodom" if they were able, as they not only wish to sin, but they
absolutely wallow in it with joy, as if it were the most wonderful thing they have ever experienced. They fight for it in the courts,
and they stick it right into the face of God in his own House. These will be taken out.

Los Angeles. San Francisco. New York City. West Palm Beach, where a woman was raped by ten people in her house while her 12 year old son was locked in another room and no one came to help her...

Sodom and Gomorrah is everywhere, now. You can't avoid it.

Just look around you. The world's moral is rapidly deteriorating. You can't run and hide from it but only accept the salvation that was given to you. Keep reading the bible as if the writer is talking directly to you. Have faith that is all wisdom.
