quoting the guy that first answered this Q's " It's an abomination towards God." the only abomination towards "god" is an asshole like him claiming to most likely be a believe of "god" who are we to judge "those without sin may cast the first stone" even i know that and I'm not even a believer in "god" the nerve of some people really

From a religious point of view? Well, the only thing I can think of is that long years ago, when the great religions were being founded, procreation was important because the death rate was still quite high. The population was low, and so each religion wanted everyone within their group to have as many babies as possible, so as to increase their numbers past what death carried off. And of course, homosexual relations are not reproductive.
Nowadays, of course, we have a vastly over-populated world, and such a reason must be re-examined. Indeed, we could arguably promote homosexuality as a way to reduce population. Allowing homosexual couples to adopt children and therefore care for orphans is more controversial, as there are also many heterosexual couples who want children. But few people think to count the children from poor countries, those of "unfashionable" races or mixed race, or the disabled children when they count "adoptable." Surely they would be better off with two fathers or two mothers than in an orphanage.

There is nothing wrong with gay relationships. I say so, not because I do not believe in God. I say so that all human being are equals. If somebody is gay/lesbian, it is not their choice. It is the same if someone is a girl or a boy, is not their choice to be a girl or a boy. Gay people can be as good as other people (non gay), can be as nice, kind, clever, just like others. I am not gay, but I accept the gay relationships. I prefer the gays than islam fundamentalist ,for example.
Forget about religion. Religion is just man made.

God unequivocally forbids homorsexual activity. Lev 18:22 Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable.
God condemned Sodom and Gormorrah for their homosexuality. It is a sin. Gen 18:20-21. "then the Lord said, "The outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is so great and their sin is so grievous that I will go down and see if what they have done is as bad as the outcry that has reached me. If not, I will know."
Paul describes homosexuality as wicked and perversion of God's gift. Rom 1;26-27 because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. in the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent act with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.
The wicked-included homosexuals-will not inherit the kingdom of God. 1 Cor 6:10 Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be decieved: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders not thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers will inherit the kingdom of God.
There is hope for homosexuals-God forgives and cleanses person of this sin. 1 Cor 6:11 Amd that (homosexual offenders) is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

The OT clearly says that if a man lies with a man as he would a woman it is an abomination unto God. The NT says it in Romans chapter 1 as well! Something that is an abomination against God is a sin because it falls against the established plan of God for man in that regard.

Most conservative religions fear these relationships simply because they are different from what they’ve known and traditionally been taught. And we humans almost always fear that which is different…
Wow, that first answer makes my heart hurt...
That's like saying that preferring apples to pears or liking the smell of lavender over roses isn't natural. If it weren't "natural", then there would be NO homosexuality. You know, the same way that our daytime sky isn’t green, it’s blue.
People are as they are. Who is anyone to say that two men or two women in love is wrong? Isn't it the LOVE and COMMITMENT two people share that we should be praising, rather than nit picking WHO they love? Two consenting adults have the right to love each other, spend their lives together, raise a family together, and to make a lifelong commitment via marriage, if they wish...the same as heterosexuals.

It is morally wrong, as primoa above has stated. Besides, they can't reproduce their own kind. Some say they are born that way. I won't argue that here, but it is a choice. Everything done in life involves making choices. How one chooses determines if it is sin or not.

Ummmm people......there is nothing wrong with gay relationships. There is nothing wrong with pre marital sex. The only reason people have these insane ideas is because they have been brainwashed by controlling, power hungry and self interested religions.
Who cares?
Live your life. Treat people how you would want to be treated and for the love of ----------. Think for yourself.

Personally I don't have a problem with it. My best guy friend is gay, we were both getting over breakups when we met and we cheered each other up. I think it's simply the way a person is, it's not something they chose any more than I choose my eye color.

They can't understand it, they say it's a sin, like premarital sex.
