I've never heard of a "corporate" double-DIN either, but there are a lot of different types of double-DIN radios. Generally, double-DIN applies to just about any radio that's about 4" tall and 7" wide. However, various manufacturers have different ways of mounting them, which means it might be difficult to replace some double-DIN factory head units with after-market.

In your Canyon, you'll want to use an adapter kit designed for mounting double-DIN head units into GM vehicles: http://www.audiooutfitter.com/store/103144/gm1590b.html

Personally, I have never heard of a corporate double din.
I would assume they are the same size. Maybe corporate refers to factory.

If there is any size difference, the mounting kit should accomodate for it.
