Sirloin in my book. I really don't know why people make a fuss about prime rib. I've had it and all it seems like to me is blubbery beef. I would never purchase it myself to prepare at home.

Prime rib - sirloin has a funny taste unless you doctor it up with a ton of seasonings.

A good prime rib is more tender and flavorful than sirloin. It's better marbled. Of course, nothing beats a good steak that's been grilled outdoors. Guess it's a toss up!
