Question for Police Officers. What appellation do you prefer.?

I guess Pigs is a non starter as is Filth.
Only LEOs Text for law Enforcement Officers is emerging as the common term.

It sounds like you are trying to offend someone. In my experience, if you succeed, it won't be actual officers you offend. They hear worse fairly often and don't take it personally.

Why would you ask something like that? You pose a legit question only to berate it with insult? Which would you prefer to be called? Dumb or Stupid? I know plenty of members of police forces, both federal and local, and I know they have been called everything to their face and behind their back. I don't think there is a general consensus as to what they prefer being called, but all respond to "Officer" on the street, regardless of rank.

You can call me anything you like.
If you think that a name would affect my ability to do my job or influence your treatment in my custody, then it shows how little you know about professionalism.

Boy, grow up! It's bad enough out there like it is. What would
we do to defend ourselves from people like you if we didn't
have them. We would all need to carry a gun. Well I kind of
like that idea anyway.
