MONISM is the idea that there is only one kind of substance (for example, physical but not spiritual, AKA Philosophical Materialism). Amonism COULD be the idea that denies Monistic philosophies.

AMON was also the ancient Egyptian god of life & reproduction. The Ankh symbol is associated with Amon.
