Several reasons create the desire to go without a bikini top. Pick one or more that is best for you:
1) Comfort.
a) wet strings with salt and sand are not nice
b) the constant feeling of the need to adjust is by itself irritating.
c) many tops feel confining. Do guys like to wear tight underwear all the time?
2) Tan lines. the lack of them widens the selection of summer clothing that can be worn without looking like a zebra.
3) Pride. if I look good I want to show it off (well that's not really on point).
4) Exhibitionist. if I like to be seen, then here is my chance.
5) Stupidity. choose this reason if you forgot to wear your top.
6) Sexual. perhaps teasing, or shopping for a new boyfriend and false advertising is not in your nature.
Those are the only reasons I can think of and my own personal preference I'll keep a secret.

For the very same reasons guys like it...because it looks and feels good. I go to the nude beach and believe me, being completely naked at the beach is awesome. There's no practical reason to wear anything at all when sunbathing or swimming, as long as you're in a place where nudiity is accepted and therefore expected.

Aside from getting aneven tan, they can also get the attention of the other people, especially guys, who are on the beach. Basically, most of these people are attention seeker
