I did as I hurt my back and could barely walk, let alone wear heels!! That was at my first wedding. My reception this time around is gonna be barefoot as my sister in law does not want shoes in her house.

I got married barefoot on a beach in the Dominican Republic - It was lovely but i don;t think it had much to do with the barefeet!!! Not really much you can wear on a beach that fluff footwise!!

I'd do it, depending on the location. My friend is getting married in flip-flops, and it's an indoor wedding - her dress is long enough to cover the shoes, so why not? I hate heels and dressy shoes just don't fit my weird feet very well, so I'd wear flip-flops or bare feet any day before wearing heels!

My mother got married barefoot. (backyard wedding)
My Ex-SIL got married barefoot. (park wedding)
I would have but I think the courthouse would have frowned on it.

It depends - Is the wedding on a beach, is the bride pregant or is it traditional. Either way it's not soo bad and to besides the dress is lond no one going to see your feet anyway.
