what is the best way to play hard to get without being mean about it? how do i keep them interested without driving them away?

be sure to get off the phone 1st never let him get off 1st so hold the conversation long enough not too long not too short then say ill call you back in about10 min. then wait for like 20 and never let him know if you're having sex with someone talking to other guys yeah but not sex, always look good at ALL times around him and flirt til you cant flirt no more!

I actually need more details. Have you just started dating this person? For one never come off as always being available. Don't call them 24/7. If you have exchanged numbers there's always been a hidden 2 day rule. Do not call until atleast 2 days. Give them a chance to wonder. You wan't to be mysterious yet laid back. I would never call my dates. If they had my number I would wait until they called me. Then you know there not busy and they actually want to talk to you. If you do call don't be so "hounding them" Act calm, cool and collected. Thats my best advice. Like I said before do not be so available! Good Luck.

Make sure he is the one calling you more and he is the one initiating when you two hang out or go out. He may seem interested by answering your calls and such, but unless he is doing most of the initiating then he's just not that interested in you.
Play as little games as possible, they are just frustrating and in my experience do more harm then good.

flirt with them but dont let them get to close. do things that you no he likes but keep ur distance if he goes to hug you quickly move away and laugh do he knows that your just messing :)
