I've got some questions for everyone! :) I ask these with all sincerity, and no disrespect meant.
Christians:
1. According to both the Bible and Christianity itself, VERY FEW are getting into Heaven when they die. Knowing this, how can you be completely sure you are one of those very few who actually get in? (And when I say very few, I mean like 1 % of humanity, supposedly)
2. WHY do you love God? Without stating Biblical references, without stating you were raised that way, etc. A very personal reason to YOU is what I am looking for.
3. Do you love the Old Testament version of God? Wrathful, angry, violent; and if so, why? Remember no Bible verse.
Muslims:
1. Is the passage in the Koran that speaks of killing infidels/unbelievers true? And if so, do you agree?
2. Why are women in Islam treated so much lower than men (seemingly)? Why do they "need" to be disciplined, or even hit, for that matter? Do you agree that a woman and children are a man's property

2. What beliefs do you share with Christians and Muslims?
3. Do you think so mush emphasis is put on the Goddess because we live in such a male dominated religious era?

As per your request...Questions for Atheists, too :)
1. Do feel sad, or even a little jaded that there is no wholly good, supreme being? Does it make you feel a little lonley?
2. If death is truly the end, with nothing after, is it then possible in any way for you be/feel spritual towards anything?
3. Do you like John Lennon's song "Imagine"? (LoL silly question, I know, but I love that song, and I always saw it as a very beautiful Atheist kind of "anthem")

Hummm....
* 1. Do you dislike the "corny" Pagans who speak like a
* dramatic Shakespeare play about casting spells and
* having power over people?
Only when people judge the whole faith from just that. Much like judging the whole Christain faith from the move "Name of the Rose".
* 2. What beliefs do you share with Christians and Muslims?
The important bits. Respect life, honesty & honour others.
Shame it doen'st apply to anykind of Fundementalists
* 3. Do you think so mush emphasis is put on the Goddess
* because we live in such a male dominated religious era?
I can see where you're coming from, AND to some people maybe. To others they are stuck in the duealist mindset of Back/white (including Male/female), as they limit people to only 2 positions. With the gender the M/F limites people to see only in Male or Female - & ignores the position of Gays & Bisexual folks.
* 4. Do you Catholic's Mother Mary as an incarnation of the
* Goddess?
In a kinda distored historical way. Just as the Celtic Goddess Brigit was "reinvented" to the Saint Brigit - complete with a personal (X-ian) history.

Great questions! You deserve a star.
Let's see:
1. Well, the Bible does say that many who call God "Lord" will not get into heaven, that's true. But right before that, Jesus was talking about hypocrites. So basically, if a person does not accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior, and serve Him, then they won't go to heaven. I am SURE that if Christianity is true, and there is a heaven, then yes, I'm going there when I die. I may still sin sometimes, but I've asked Jesus to be my Lord and Savior, and I've asked forgiveness for my sins. And I try VERY hard not to sin.
2. Why do I love God? Oh, let me count the ways. I love God for the beauty He created. I love God for the comfort He gives me. I love God because He accepted me, even after all the horrible things I did. I can't really explain that last one in words, like how I KNOW He accepted me...it's just an amazing feeling. And there are so many more reasons, it would take days to write them all down.
3. Yes, I do. Yes, God was wrathful in the Old Testament, but He also gave people time to turn from the way they were going. I think the God of the Old Testament shows us that God alone has the right to judge. And He did.

First, I am Christian. I don't know where you get your stats about how many are getting into Heaven. I've never seen anything in the Bible, which is the word of God, that says how many He intends on letting in. The offer is out ther for salvation for everyone, but not everyone will accept that.
2. I love God because I know that I have broken His law and deserve punishment. God has saved me from that punishment by sacrificing Himself. The only sacrifice that would satisfy justice.
3. The OT God is the same as the NT God is the same God of the universe. The "OT God" gives us the promises of the NT that have been fulfilled.

1: Heaven is not a place for the chosen few.
God is the essense Love, which very few can fathem and almost all have forgotten.
You must understand that the Bible is a "Devine Inspiration" and there are very many human elements and personal opinions envolved within the scriptures.
Did Jesus not say: there is no greater cammandment I give you than these,To love god wiht all your heart, mind and strength and Love your neighbours as yourselves?
When we cast aside conflicts of the mind and say
deep within ourselves, What would love do?
you will know the true interpretation of this passage and that is made for all human beings and not the select few.
God is the boundless love which inspires this passage, and it must be interpreted in it purest form, alway from the point of Unconditional LOVE

I'm a christian so I'm gonna answer the first three questions..
1.) You can be sure of going to heaven and in having eternal life if you know in yoourself that you have accepted Jesus as your Lord and personal Savior.
2.) I love God because he gives me problems that I can solve and those problems makes me stronger physically, emotionally and spiritually.
3.)Yes. I love it because it shows how God created us. It shows His wrath but I know that He has a purpose why he did those things.

The children of God will get to Heaven and the children of the Devil won't. You sound like one of God's children. God set the example on how every father, mother and child should conduct themselves. Love God for teaching us that, reject those who don't follow his teachings. I believe Jesus was the God of the Old Testament and that will once again be the side of God mankind will meet again when He comes back to straighten out the mess mankind once again has made for himself.

I am non of the above, but you make a good point. I have always wondered if "few will find the way" why are there so many christians. hmmm maybe the jews had it right since there are only 0.22% of them in the world and 33% christians. If christians believe they are one of the few, they might want to consider switching to judaism.

As a christian: God said that if you believed he died for your sins, you are saved, and you will join him in heaven. That's all I need to know.
I love god because he/she is the only one I know who will always listen to me and always make time to do so.
Lastly, I don't really read the bible, I know the basics of what I need to kn ow in my religion and that's good enough.
