A guess work- acceptable! It goes in multiples of 1200 years.Ascending & descending rotation of SUN is 12000+12000yrs Dharma is 4 parts. Kali Yuga is 1/20 of this orbit. (To me KALI YUG is over, hence spirituality started.) 2/20 is DWAPARA YUGA,(Dharmam started)3/20 is TRETA YUGA 4/20 part is Satya yga, some time -lag in years counted.Satya yuga is 4800yrs. Treta yuga is 3000 yrs. Dwapar yuga is 2000 yrs. Kali Yuga is 1000 yrs. when 100,200,300&400 is taken as time- lag (shandi) SORRY, I have not confused you!

There is no brak between two yugas . As one ends the other starts .The length ( duration ) of one yuga is 10,8000 yeas . Four such yugas make one chathur yuga ( 4320000years )
71 Chatur Yugas make one Manvanthra
14 manvanthras make one kalpa (eon)
One kalpa is half -a-day for Brahma . At day break of Brahma alllives emerge from unmanifest form and night falls all lives sink into darkness unwillingly. So accordimng to Bhagavad gita the lives emerge from unmanifest from after one kalpa .( just calcula ethe years)and they all are dissolved after one kalpa , to emerge agaion after one kalpa .so the process is repeated .endlessly.
