It is possible that a few cells arrived on Earth from space eons ago and then evolved into the diverse lifeforms present here today. It could have been from asteroids from Mars or alien spacecraft from a different galaxy.
However, I think it is far more likely that life on Earth originated here.
In my opinion, the idea that space aliens intelligently designed life on Earth, interbred with primates to create humans, or performed anything similar to that is complete nonsense. It's almost as implausible as the creation stories most religions believe in.

I think Erich Von Danniken is the guy who popularised this theory in Chariots of the Gods and his follow up books. He built on the works of previous authors however.
It really is an entertaining theory but sadly as the years went by many sections were shown to be inaccuracies and some parts were sheer invention. An iron pillar in India which somehow did not rust was invoked by Von Daniken to support his theory of extra terrestrial influence. However he admitted in an interview many years later that in fact the pillar was and still is rusting.

I see no difference if the aliens evolved, then started us, OR, we just evolved. Just no real difference to me at all on the philosophical level. The only diff is that we might have relatives out there.
If we only evolved here, we are likely alone due to the mathematics involved.
I think most religions say that God only created life here, if not, we might have relatives elsewhere too.
It's too bad we can't run experiements on the beginning again so as to apply scientific methodology, so we are stuch with different 'models' and how well they fit.

We are created by an alien material from the comets and metheors, but I wouldn't believe it so easily that we are created in sophisticated manner by some other race. On the other side, a simple genetic intervention on the monkeys might have taken a place...

Arthur C,Clarke's book 2001 a Space Odyssey says exactly that . Read the book before you see the movie or much of the movie will be incomprehensible

Wait a minute! You are telling me that you will believe aliens made us before you will believe God made us. You better rethink your position. Technically any God or angel or anything not from Earth is alien.

There is no such things as aliens, because aliens are a thing of peoples imagination. They are demonic and fool people into beliving a lie which peole belive. They would rather believe a lie fromt thr devil than to belive God. This is a sad and sorry world. God created humans. WAKE UP.

IF aliens were able to create a race it does not make sense for them to create one that would be inferior to them and that they would remain distant from.
Besides, who would have created the aliens in the first place?

Never. Man was created by THE LORD GOD. The numerous books about these aliens creating human beings were written by men under the deceptions of satan. Satan is the great deceiver of mankind and brings men to confusion, sow hatred, anger, terrorism, wars, crimes, addictions, quarrels, adutery, divisions, to errors and sins.

I am Christian,The Bible is full of U.F.O. stories.God and Moses in a burning bush forty days and it does not burn, the pillow of cloud that leads them on the exodus, moves by day, lights there tents at night.there is at least 100 references in the Bible. The Vatican says U.F.O.S are real and not to be feared, goggle Vatican U.F.O.S..If God,Angels and Demons come in U.F.O.S does not make God any lesser. You may be interested in Erick Von Danikins books i.e, Chariots of the Gods,God drives a flying saucer..it would explain all the races, the tower of Babel does not explain that.God id almighty beyond our understanding,He is real, Jesus does miracles. They are immortal ,and put us here either way.
