Lizard dream?

Question

I had a weird dream last night, It's one of those dreams where I don't remember when I wake up. I only recalled it today when some a$$holes left me comments on my blog about how I'm scary looking and that I'm a reptile queen. Whatever it is, I had this dream about this blue/dark green lizard with much more striking blue, and in my dream I was afraid of it at 1st. It follows me wherever I went and clinged on to me whenever it could, I couldn't get it to stop following me and even when I went into hiding, it will find me eventually. It seems really attached to me like a lover would be. But in the end, I got rid of it and in my dream, I was missing it a little after it's gone.

Animals sometimes represent people we know in are life. The animals we see in our dreams reflect the character of certain people we know. A lizard is cold blooded, emotionless, and some of then dangerous. So, it might be someone who pursue after you for alwhile, which you got to know, and then they were gone.

I'm no expert on dream interpretation but I've got a book where it said a bit as follows:

To be hunted and running away from something can mean that you're in a troubled situation in life - and how you try to escape from whatever's hunting you can reflect what you do in real life - or how you're handling it.
Maybe you keep hiding away from a problem in real life instead of confronting it, which your dream might be telling you to do since you missed what was "hunting" you in the end...

If you are in a troubled period of life - an animal can mean that your protected from troubles in some way, and that you're cared for, and you shouldn't worry cause it will get better in the end.
Animals can also have certain characteristics which can be interesting to look into, I can imagine a cameleont lizard who likes to "hide" with it's camouflage can represent you a little bit too maybe...

As for colours - green stands for nature and healing etc...but green can also mean envy of something...

Blue represents communication, co-existens etc, and it's a colour that can give you hope for a brighter future. But a dark blue colour can also mean that you feel sad etc...

So, if I would guess what this dream is trying to tell you - confront your fears, don't hide away from them, I think things'll turn out ok in the end since the animal and the colours of blue and green seem to stand for hope and like that there's a chance you will reach an agreement/be able to work things out and co-operate with whoever or whatever is troubling you.
