Hi...my suggestion is that you get out of your mind and into your heart-space by Meditating or the Inner Prayer (as some would call it) for 15 - 20 minutes per day.
Tips on meditation: Your last thought before entering into your meditative state should be of someone or thing which you love very much, think of your love for that person or thing, then turn that though into your emotions and let the feeling of warmth and love you have for that person overcome you, then hold this feeling for the entire 15-20 minutes whilst blocking out all the distractions around you....
after 7 days of this, I garuantee all you'll feel is love and inner peace......All the best

sounds like a question of how accurate ones perceptions are and whether they originated in ones head or elsewhere . Either way it is sometimes difficult to tell with questioning making comparisons and deciding what we consider to true for ourselves . Just what's the problem with only in your head ?

The picture of my fiancee' fresh out of the shower, her hair still damp and hanging over her shoulders to the small of her back, walking towards me with only a towel wrapped around her sumptious body. It's in my head until I get home.

Yes, that's right. Any "proof" of the existence or lack thereof of God exists is only in your head!
I hope that will stop the people on both sides of the issue to cease these endless questions....but it probably won't

I read it as a direct reference to religion, since that is where we are. Is god real or just in your head? It is just in your head. All imagination and the need for it to be true is enough for many people to believe that it is true.
But it ain't.
God is imaginary.
All previous gods were man-made inventions. This one is no different.
