Workout first.... and then breakfast.
If workout is the first thing that u did in a day, it removes the excess fat already present in the body. This is essential for losing excess weight or to maintain weight.
If u eat and then workout, what u've ate last gets burnt first, and whatever has been accumulated before it just remains there. So effectively, workout after breakfast doesn't solve the purpose of workouts.
Ideally, keep a gap of 1-1.5 hours between workout and breakfast.

i had this same question wen i started not 2 long ago. i thot it would b better 2 workout rite wen i wake up and b4 i eat. i still do it sumtimes cuz im lazy. but its better if u eat then workout if u have the time 2. ur body is like a machine. rite wen u wake up u r hungry and ur body is running on empty. eating 1st gives u the energy 2 do ur workout. notice that wen u workout b4 u eat u get tired more quickly than if u ate and digested 1st. and u DONT get energy while u digest. thats just stupid. its bad 2 workout while ur digesting ur body cant do everything at once. the point of eating 1st is 2 give ur body energy but if u want quick energy and 2 get past the wait ppl tell u 2 do, drink a soda or eat sum fruits. just make sure u eat sum protein sumtime after ur workout. and dont listen 2 these ppl about burning fat blah blah blah. if u wanna burn fat, do sum cardio(running, swimming, etc) 4 around 30 mins cuz then itll use up ur bodys stored energy. after the energy is used up then wen u go workout ur body will burn fat 4 energy.

I prefer to eat breakfast first and then workout in the mid or late afternoon.
If you don't eat then workout you burn fat along with muscle.
If you must workout in the morning before breakfast don't do it for a long amount of time 30mins. max

eat breakfast an hour after workout because ur still burning fat after workout and the most efficent way is to only drink water until an hour after u workout

If I'm doing weight training I eat breakfast before I work out for the energy boost it gives.
If I'm jogging or cycling or swimming, I eat breakfast after I work out because I get queasy stomach if I eat first then run or cycle.
Try it both ways and see which is best for you. What works for you might not work for me and vise versa.

I'd workout first, then eat. Your body will burn more calories first thing in the morning.

Ive heard that its better to eat after a work out because your body is digesting and will use that food to for energy faster and more efficient ... but hey thats just what ive heard :)
