Hmmm... how many Christian Martyrs are there vs. How many Atheist ones?

Between the Crusades and Inquisitions, how many Atheists were killed for not believing?

During the reign of Communism, how many Christians were killed for believing?

Who is more likely to come to your door in the early morning and seek dialogue with you?

Who is more likely to go to the Supreme Court to have their beliefs upheld in the public eye?

And finally, are we talking Internet Atheists or Real Life Atheists?

'cause I find there's a real big difference.

Atheism which is more like Anti-theism is just as outspoken as Christians except their belief is simplified.

Christians have a set of values that they attempt to get people to live by.

Atheists remove the idea of values ultimately and argue about a negation. Such and such a thing is not real; The mind is absorbed in what they call the non-existent and then using religious terms like evil and tyrant, and other things that would only be valid if God existed to try to disprove it, because if God doesn't exist than there are no rules. Oppression and suffering would not be bad. Pushing your religion on someone wouldn't be bad. It would be as arbitrary as anything else

Christian beliefs are stronger (we will die for our God); however the Atheist belief system is easier to adhere to. A Christian must follow the commandments given to us by our Father in heaven. An Atheist relys on the 'do what feels good' doctrine (answers to himself).

The Atheist is more outspoken (unfortunately) because the 'do what feels good' standard of beliefs requires no work.

Everybody judges everybody. It is a human reaction to every situation. Walk into a room and the first thing any one does, evaluate (judge) the room.

I am a Catholic (100% Christian), and I can say from experience that it seems like Christians are more focused on fighting with each other, rather than battling with the Atheists. With all of this Christian vs. Christian persecution and war, no one's got time to deal with the Atheists.

For the most part, it also seems that proclaimed Atheists are more quick to denounce Christianity than they are to explain why they believe what they believe. As a matter of fact, in a long time of posting, I haven't seen a response to a question on this site from an Atheist who skips the Christian bashing and instead explains their own faith, or lack thereof.

Also, both seem to be judgmental sorts. This being my experience from YA, anyway. I can't put an ounce of credit in what anyone says on this site because there is too much misinformation, mendacity, and outright hate expressed in lieu of real and valuable information.

Atheists are in the minority, however, Not many people who are atheists ever sell out for the unbelievable. On the other hand, religious people seem to be more devoted to their delusions of grandeur. They are more outspoken, although what they say is usually just direct quotes from their religious books. Religious people are also more prone to being judgmental, especially toward Atheists.

Atheists are self-centered, so they make minimal effort to put anything good before base desires. I do not say this of agnostics, but of atheists. Faith is stronger than faithlessness, as the former has substance, and executes in its exercie vast energy of belief and devotion, as the blazing sun gives off its burning, while faithlessness is a comatose neglect of faculties of soul and spirit. All judge, but atheists judge arrogantly, while Christians accept the Truth, being humble before the HEAVENLY FATHER, as willing to learn correctly.

Christians are more devoted just from experiance. There would be no way to tell since Atheists are the minority. There wouldnt be a way of factoring out the numbers, if you know what i mean.

I dont really believe this is a valid contest. Atheists have no religious beliefs and Christians come in a variety of levels of devotion........Fundemental Evangelicals who happen to be fanatics are the worst when it comes to trying to convert everyone though. I sincerely believe the best way to get rid of them when they come knocking on the door is tell them you worship Satan, even if you dont.
