Dear Nora***

I have 3 males and 1 female. The first male maine-coon was 14weeks old when I adopted him from the S.P.C.A. Eight months later I bought 2 maine-coon kittens a brother and sister, and one year later I bought 1 maine-coon kitten born to the same mother as the brother and sister.
At first there were a couple of smacks from the oldest one, but it was him warning them they were out of line!!!!!! not a dominence threat!!!
I have never had a problem with any of them, they all live inside.
You will have that problem if you do not neuter them. Essential to neuter them together and if you tell the vet to keep them in the same cage after the operations. Always keep them together and do not exclude any of them when playing, loving, etc. Even after they have been neutered, always give them both the same equal attention, otherwise you will have the left out one spraying.

Enjoy them, love them as if they were your own babies!!

If you neuter them at a young age (4-5 months, or as early as your vet will allow) then they will have the same behavior as females. All cats fight occasionally, but they shouldn't be territorial.

If you wait too long to neuter them, then their male hormones will start to kick in, and they will develop territorial behaviors like spraying. They will likely develop the male instinct to be a lone "tom cat" so really, you should neuter them ASAP.

Neuter them and they will more likely share territory.
Un-neutered males will most likely fight.

All cats have the potential to "go Diva". Kittens start out friendly, and as they age, they can become quite territorial, and decide they want to be "only children". Regardless of gender. It's just as common for females.

If you want 2 cats that are used to living together, get ones from someone looking to "re-home" theirs. They will get along and you don't have to worry about it.

well, i have two male cats that i adopted together(also brothers) and i had the same question. i raised them together nd they were used to eachother, so they weren't competitive over their territory. it varies with different cats, but im sure they wont be competitive because they will be raised together

One may end up being more dominant over the other and that doesn't mean they will have "fights". I have three neutered male cats now (not from the same litter) and they don't have problems with one another.

If you don't neuter them then you can expect problems.

seperate them or get two female cats so the guys will feel love and care about their lover. that will distract the other male

I have heard tell that it is best to get liter mates.
Suppose to get along better.
So, if theory holds true, you should be fine.
Of course you will still have to get them fixed.
Good luck, God bless
